Klaus coughs. I see Bens notepad next to me on the floor

Ben- his Vietnam boyfriend

Klaus- he's not my boyfriend, we haven't even gotten together yet

Me- what?

Klaus- um, that probably was the worst way to word it..

Me- so he's your date from the past aka the future..? Wait that makes it worse

Klaus- i'll explain later, Dave come with me

Klaus and him leave. I was stuck with Ben

Me- who the hell is that?

Ben- you know that day when you found him banging up an old suitcase?

Me- yeah?

Ben- and he started talking about this man he met, that was Dave

Me- so this is him before they started dating?

Ben- you got it

Me- but why is..

Ben- he here? Klaus has been trying to get him not to sign up for the war to save his life

Me- wait- does that mean..

Ben- he still has feelings for him? Probably, ever since he punched him I thought he gave up. That's why he was a drunken mess at Allisons

Me- so to sum it up: Klaus has unknown feelings towards a man who doesn't even know they date until the future, and he's trying to save his life before he dies in the war so it could save their relationship?

Ben- I guess

Me- but then what about me?

Ben- I'm kinda clueless myself, your gonna have to talk to Klaus on that one

I look out the window to see the two of them talk. Klaus was handing him dog tags from around his neck. They talk even more and eventually Dave leaves as an upset mess. One of his followers knocks on the door

I open the envelope to find a letter from Reginald Hargreeves

Ben- dad...

Me- i'm not going

Ben- why?

Me- I'm just some extra Five dragged into whatever the hell this is

Ben- what about Klaus?

Me- he's got some feelings for his future boyfriend

Ben- Percy...

Me- i'm gonna go on a walk..

I toss the letter and walk outside
