I was crying in the sewer, the first time I've cried since I was seven... I barely had any energy even after eating my only rations. Suddenly Five appeared in front of me, causing me to jump

Five- thank god you're alive

I cough and sit up

Five- I already heard you crying, don't act tough now

Me- sorry

He sits across from me on his heels

Five- nice place

Me- thanks

I say sarcastically back

Five- how long have you been here?

Me- well I was in the hospital for two years on my own, then out and about for another year

Five- sounds rough

Me- where are the others ?

Five- somewhere around here. I've found Diego and Luther, but he doesn't want to stick around. So just me, Diego, some psycho lady, and a doctor I think

Me- what about Vanya and Allison?

Five- I had Vanya but she left too. I haven't found Allison or Klaus yet

Me- I know where Klaus is

Five- where?

Me- being some sort of cult leader jesus type deal

Five- why isn't he with you?

Me- I just met up with him after three years of him leaving me alone to die

Five- sounds like him

I lowered my head

Five- let's get you to the others, maybe that doctor guy can help

He helps me stand up. We climb out of the sewer and we both walk to this alley

Me- this was where we ended up

Five- where we all did

We walk through a door and into a room. I see Diego. I run up to hug him

Me- thank the gods

Diego- how did you survive?

Me- Cops brought me to a hospital. The last year I've been alone-

Lady- well who's this?

A woman walked into the room

Diego- Percy this is Lila, Lila my friend Percy

She shakes my hand

Lila- pleasure

Another man walks in the room

Man- I remember you! You were the one bleeding out in the alley in 1960

Me- yeah..

Man- May I see your stomach? If you don't mind

I grabbed at the bottom of my shirt and lifted it up under my nipples to reveal a giant circular scar that covered the majority of my stomach. He traced the stitching with his fingertips

Man- incredible..

Me- excuse me?

Man- what I mean to say was, incredible that you've been able to survive for so long without your lower intestines. All the blood loss and not to mention cells to keep your body alive and working gone... just incredible

Me- thanks..?

He coughs and stands straight. I let go of my shirt

Man- come on, let's get you settled
