MEET MORGAN
Also known as neverfakeit and buzzmama on Wattpad, I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada by musician parents who didn't believe in discipline. But irreverent humor ran rampant in the house, so I turned out okay. I also got to meet a lot of celebrities, although I didn't appreciate the cool factor at the time.
I didn't start writing fiction until later in life. So I am proof that you don't have to come out of the womb with a compulsion to write stories in order to make a career out of it. I started life on Wattpad writing YA fantasy, and my teenfic story, Neon Girl, won a Wattys award in 2015. I became a Wattpad Star in early 2017. Shortly after this, my new adult romance, Lexi's Undoing, was published by Hachette Audiobooks. I have a short story, Heart of Gold, in the Paid Stories anthology The One That Got Away.
Because I love Wattpad and what it stands for, I became a Wattpad Ambassador in 2018, and I proudly serve the community on the Wattpad Bookshelves profile, which features works by Wattpad writers that have gone on to become published books.
Like writing, music plays a huge role in my life. My fav genres are alt rock, classic rock, house music, and jazz. Please don't play country twang or opera around me, thanks. As for fav groups, that's a tough one because - The Beatles. But, apart from them, if I had to pick two others, like if a gun was held to my head and I had to choose, it would be Pink Floyd and Linkin Park (rest gently, Chester).
Fav books are Harry Potter (duh), Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan series, and Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. I love me some fantasy.
Fav movies are Coneheads, Elf, Jim Carrey's Grinch, Ratatouille, and The Hobbit.
Fav TV shows are Big Bang Theory, Blacklist, Chuck, Madam Secretary, and Anthony Bourdain's travel shows (I will always be in mourning).
I am a Taurus and a Hufflepuff.
