Hey lovely readers!!!!

Lots of thanks for all those precious votes, suggestions, comments you guys have showered Untamed Hearts with. It is overhelming to find people this much invested in this story.

Untamed Hearts as the name suggest is a story of hearts which are beyond the control of any one. No rules or norms can stop them from achieving which they craved for, which they wished for. And yes it is in reference to Aat's character who stopped at nothing and destroyed each and every relation, broke many rules, turned into a monster and hurted someone dear to him.

Aat is not a purely white or purely black character. He belongs to the grey category. He had been a good son, a good brother, a good friend but he failed to be a good human. He failed to put reins on his inner demons. His character is slightly complicated to understand. You can never like him wholly but there would also come time when we feel pity for him. There were times I just wanted to kill Aat and get it over with. But then my mind goes to all our protagonist had to go through and I changed my mind.

I had started Untamed Hearts on a whim without any definite plot with only the idea of writing something about a rape survivor.
And came across so many things while doing some research. I can only guess, how difficult it use to be for real victims to face up all these obstacles along with mental and emotional trauma...Media, Court, Evidences!!! Why in the fucking hell one has to give evidence that yes he or she had indeed been raped???? Or forced to have sex?? Not all wounds leave marks!!

Now that it is already last chapter of Untamed Hearts, am not sure, if it is the right end or not or if there is any ending which can be called a proper RIGHT?

At first, I was all set to drop Aat from the cliff, diving straight into the bone freezing cold ocean to pay for his deeds but then a question stared back at me. Isn't it too serene for a punishment??? How can I let Aat off the hook so easily??? Death would be very easy peasy and painless. He won't even suffer because you have to be alive to agonise, to ache.

So now Aat is alive, serving jail time as he deserves to, but now he is finally aware of Kongpob's suffering and also knows that other is never going to forgive him. And trust me, nothing beats more than the guilty conscience, if people have that for starters. Realising that you have hurted the person you cherish the most - it makes you hollow inside. Seeing no emotions for your ownself in your loved one's eyes is more painful than finding hatred in them. Atleast with hatred they are feeling something...

Forgivenes has no meaning unless the person really wished for it. Same way Punishment has no affect if the person is not actually feeling it.

Many of you won't agree to this and it's completly fine. It should be that way. If everyone begin to think the same way, it would be so boring and colourless. Infact I feel great when i read you guys presenting your own views which are stark apart from me. In case I have intentionally or unknowningly offended anyone, I do apologise.

Kongpob donating his blood to Aat is an important part of the story. Our Kong is going to become a doctor in future. Doctor who saves life. No matter whose. They pledged to it. This is the very first reason for him giving his blood to Aat. He was merely saving a dying person. By giving life to Aat, Kongpob once again proved that he is far better than him. It also evidences that our future doctor is already to throw Aat out of his life and move forward to a better tomorrow. He can never forget the cruelty done to him but he had become strong enough to not let his scars stop him.

I won't come out and say that Aat has a change of heart or he has become a good person now. Changes don't come easily and to top it off good changes...next to impossible. For now, Aat is in jail. we don't know if he would strike again or would change for good. This story is not about second chances. So, for now lets assume that worst is over with Aat behind the bars and now its happy time with Asnee, Arthit and Kongpob....

About the sequel..... yes there are chances of a squel but not in near future. For now this is a happy ending for me. I have other fanfics to update. So, there won't be a sequel or prequel of Untamed Hearts for a while. But I would surely try for a sweet epilogue😗
