Chapter One - The Seeds Of Chaos

As terror and chaos grips the kingdom of Atlas, Darth Jadus looks upon the city from inside the Mostra with satisfaction. The chaos he has wrought on the city pleased him. Soon enough, he was approached by Mordred along with Circe and Grendel. The three Hands of Jadus bowed before him. 

Darth Jadus: Welcome, Hands. Look upon the city. As we speak, chaos and terror has gripped every heart in Atlas. They will soon know the power of the Dark Side. You should be proud of yourselves. You have planted the seeds of chaos that will bring Remnant closer to my vision. 

Mordred: Beyond words, Lord Jadus. 

Darth Jadus: The White Fang await my further orders. The Jedi and their allies are now on the run. The Winter Maiden is among them. 

As the Winter Maiden was mentioned, Circe looked upon her left wrist with disappointment in her eyes. Soon enough, a group of Beowolves enter the room. At first, Mordred and the others prepared to attack, but Darth Jadus orders them to stop. As the Hands of Jadus lowered their weapons, they noticed something strange about the Grimm. These Grimm bore glowing red markings on their bodies. 

Circe: I sense darkness within these creatures. More darkness than usual. 

Darth Jadus: With Dr. Merlot's help, I have remade these pitiful creatures into my image. They are now vessels of my power. They will hunt down and purge all our enemies. The light of this world shall soon be purged. 

As Darth Jadus said this, he and his Hands were summoned by Salem. They soon met in the throne room where Cinder and Neopolitan presented the Relic of Knowledge to Salem. 

Cinder: My queen. 

Salem: Cinder. When I chose you as my vessel for the Maidens, I put my trust in you. So, I trust that you wouldn't possibly return to me empty-handed. 

Cinder: The Relic of Knowledge. I took it right from under Ironwood's nose.

Neo glanced over to Darth Jadus, showing little emotion. It wasn't long until Tyrian appeared. 

Tyian: Outsmarting the general speaks less to your intellect and...more to his. After all, you were outsmarted by those children first.

Cinder: And according to radio chatter, that same general and his forces outsmarted you. A shame Watts never made it back.

Darth Jadus: While you were chasing artifacts, my agents have been planting the seeds of chaos and fear which now grips both Atlas and Mantle. And even though you took advantage of the chaos I created, you still failed to acquire the powers of the Winter Maiden. 

As Darth Jadus said that, Cinder became enraged. Despite her anger at the Sith Lord, she turned her attention to Salem. At the same time, Emerald, Mercury and Hazel joined the group.

Cinder: Polendina's creation interfered with the transfer of the Winter Maiden power... but now I know she has it. And once I return to Atlas, it won't take long to finish what I started. That power will be mine.

Salem: I gave no such command. 

Cinder: Ma'am, now is the time to....

Salem soon approaches Cinder, causing Cinder to grovel before the Dark Queen. Once more, Darth Jadus watches as Cinder's true nature was revealed. 

Salem: This game is not yours to win, Cinder, it's mine. Just because you're more valuable to me than a pawn, does not make you a player. Everything is already in motion. All you need concern yourself with is your ability to act when I tell you to.

Cinder: Of course.

Darth Jadus: And so the failed slave grovels before her master. And once more, the master shows mercy. 

Cinder's rage was barely contained as Darth Jadus continued to mock her. Still, she maintained her composure. Some time after the meeting, Darth Jadus was preparing a transport shuttle for his Sith Grimm. As he does so, Neopolitan approaches him and bows before him. 

Darth Jadus: Neopolitan. You have done well. Your information has been most invaluable. 

Neopolitan then hands Darth Jadus her Scroll and plays the footage of the arrest of Jacques Schnee. The Scroll also shows the arrest of Qrow Branwen and Robyn Hill under suspicion for the death of Clover. 

Darth Jadus: The fool has failed me for the last time. When the time is right, he will dealt with most severely. 

Neopolitan nods to the Sith Lord as she is handed her Scroll back. 

Darth Jadus: Return to your duties, Neopolitan. Watch Cinder Fall carefully. Continue to work with her and earn her trust. Report her movements to me. 

Neopolitan then proceeds to communicate with Darth Jadus via sign language. 

Neopolitan: What about our deal? It still applies, right?

Darth Jadus: Yes. When you have fulfilled your duties, the Silver Eyed Girl will be delivered to you and you will be free to exact vengeance on her for the death of your partner. Now go. 

Satisfied, Neopolitan leaves the room just as the Hands of Jadus arrive. 

Darth Jadus: I have a new assignment for you. Take these Grimm and unleash them upon Mantle. Once that is done, make your way to Atlas and await my arrival. 

Mordred: Yes, Lord Jadus. 

With that, the Hands of Jadus boarded the shuttle carrying the Sithspawn Grimm and departed from the Monstra. As the shuttle departed, Darth Jadus had already begun laying out the next stage of his plan. He knew Cinder would defy Salem's wishes. With Neopolitan as his agent, he would know Cinder's movements. And when the time was right, Darth Jadus would know exactly when and where to strike.
