Chapter 6

Piper's POV

I saw my mother squeal and rush towards me. I held out my arms to hug her, but she rushed past me.

"Aww!!!! Look at you!!!! All grown uuuuupppppp!!!!!" She swooped up Jason and crushed him in a bear hug. "Have you asked HER yet? She glanced over at me and winked.

"Asked me what?" I walked over to them and hugged my mother Aphrodite.

"OHHH NOTHING DEARY!" she squeaked in a really high voice.

Zeus's loud voice bellowed, "WHERE IS SHEEE?" He ran up to Sage and glared down at her.

"Hello sir." she said meekly. Sage stuck out her hand to shake it but his hand remained folded in his arms. "I'm sorry but I won't shake hands with a child of Gaea.

"Excuse me!" I screamed. "We are all children of Gaea, or more like descendants. Isn't she your grandmother?" "WELL I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW YOUNG LADY THAT I-" Jason cut him off by whispering in his ear. Zeus's gaze softened instantly. He muttered back.

"Well you could have told she was THAT girl you were talking about." Jason nodded slowly. He looked at me and gave me a wink.

[ Well this is really weird.]

Chiron came out and called the gods into his house along with Sage.She gave me a look that seemed to say "Crap." and she followed them. I rushed in to join them, ready to use my charm speak, but Annabeth stopped me.

"Let her go, I'm sure you could fool the gods with charm speak, but your mom will spot it right away."

I stopped and looked at her. She had a way of reading my mind.

I sighed, "Your right..."

Sage's POV

I walked into the cabin with Chiron and the gods.

Aphrodite smiled at me warmly, but the other gods glared at me or wouldn't make eye contact.I twiddled my thumbs and stared at the floor. Nobody was talking, so I spoke up.

"She talks to me, you know." That got everyone's attention. "In my dreams, she whispers for me to avenge her, kill you all, and rule the world."

I looked up and smiled, my bangs falling in front of my face. It tickled my nose and I sneezed. Hectate giggled.

"DO IT!" Nemesis yelled. " Don't you want to take revenge on those who did hurt you?" she grinned wickedly.

"Like that would help!" Hectate yelled. "We're trying to keep her from DESTROYING this camp and the world!"

"Oh, yeah, never mind." Nemesis sat back down and winked at me. [Wha?]

"I just wanted to say that I'm not evil, and I will not kill or hurt anybody. I love the people at this camp, they are my only family."

"Even one of my sons?" Hephaestus waggled his soot covered eye brows.

The redness came back to my cheeks and climbed up my ears.

" I, ah, um... well you see the thing is , uhh..."

Aphrodite's eyes lit up and she raised her hands. "I see it know and it will happen!" she squeaked.

" But what about Calyp-" Demeter started but was cut off. "Shhhhh! Aphrodite's hand clamped over her mouth." I frowned but didn't say anything.

Calyp? Who's she? What's her full name? Calypo? No, wait, I got it! Calypso?

The name surely had a familiar ring, but I couldn't remember.

I put my hands behind my back, and something cold and cylinder like went into my empty hands.
