LEV & ANA

Lev is watching closely as he joins two components of a very small, yet complicated parts. He is working to make a portal, as traveling through the atmosphere is almost impossible for other races. Behind him, Ana is sitting down on a day bed, tucking her legs until her chin rested on her knees, with a book in her hand. Her delicate fingers are playing with the edge of the page, her eyes scanning the words although she can recite the words without seeing them.

She had read this book about a thousand times, but she has no other option, it was the only thing currently available. In total there are about fifteen books which some were accidentally left behind inside the spaceship, which had brought their parents here. Most of them are technical or engineering books, but this one, is a novel, an action novel about a successful thief with a hundred names.

Ana looks at her twin brother, his back to her as he hunching to look closely at his project's progress. He is too concentrated on what he is doing for her to bother him.

I'm almost done. Lev said to her.

Ana smiles, it's very comforting that she doesn't need to speak to her twin brother, he just knows. He always knows.

Lev always trying his best to help his small tribe. Although there isn't any leader here, the people respect his father, as he was the one who brought the rest here. But he would like to make himself known as what he has accomplished, not a son of somebody.

Nat is busy with her constant battle with Lor. Dom set his mind on finding earth, and Ana is... well, she is Ana. So he has to find a way to take part in the community.

He aims to come up with as many things as possible, which would benefit his community. To help them, to make their life easier, and he takes the pride of knowing that he has been doing that for a while now. And other males are always happy to help him, accompanying him looking for new things, such as new kinds of elements to be put into their periodic table.

This will be the answer to our prayers. He tells his sister. I couldn't help our mother, but perhaps now I can help future humans, male or female.

Lev feels Ana's feelings towards him, she feels proud of him and sad that she cannot contribute as much as he does.

Don't be silly. You're the princess on this planet. We all need you to be happy and healthy, that's all. Dom will flatten all the hills just for Ana to walk easier.

Their father is too caught up in his grief he barely ever take his role as a father, so Dom stepped in and act like their parents. They are not disappointed in him or angry, they are... sad and pity him.

Nat tried to act as the mother too when we were younger, but she has Lor breathing down her neck every second of the day so...

Lev can feel Ana's mind wandering out of the building, daydreaming, she wants to go out. She wants to visit another planet, see other races, visit their cities. But as fast as her mind wandering around, it's burst into nothingness as she sighs in defeat. She knows she will never get out of this planet.

He is not joking when he said she is the Princess of Relish.

I wish... Ana's soft voice trails. Not many people had heard her voice, and he is very fortunate to hear most of the time she decided to grace anyone with her angelic, otherworldly voice.

Lev sits down next to her and holds her close to him. His sister is his treasure, Lev will do anything for her. He knows the rest is underestimating her, but he knows she is as strong as she is delicate.

One day, I will take you out there and show you the beauty of this universe. Lev promises her. Ana lifts her face and smiles at him, his brain is filled with the feeling of gratitude coming from her.
