... The front door swung open. I turned my head to see mom stood in the doorway. Of all the moments, of course she had to pick that exact moment to open the door. Colin backed away from me, letting go of my waist and I looked down smiling. I felt a little ashamed because my mom prefers to be told when I'm inviting someone over.
"Y/N? Who's this?" She asked me, motioning over to Colin who was clearly speechless and embarrassed.
"Mom, this is my friend Colin. We both have no more lessons so I wanted to bring him over and we can watch Rocky Horror."
"Alright fine, but just this once. Hello Colin, it's lovely to meet you."
Colin looked up, still seeming speechless.
"H- Hi."
He says quietly.
I grab hold of his arm and drag him inside my house, then up the stairs to my room. I opened the door and sat on my bed, throwing my bag in the corner of the room. Colin did the same and sat quite close next to me.
"So wanna tell me what all the excitement was about earlier?" I turn my head, looking at him.
"Uh yeah. Rocky Horror is my favourite movie of all time."
I laugh, then begin searching for the remote.
Ah. I remember it's on my desk.
I stand up and walk over to my desk, removing all the sheets of lyrics onto the floor. As I was searching, I hadn't even realised that Colin had picked up one of my sheets and had began reading it. I grab hold of the remote and point it towards the TV, surely enough it switches on and already the main screen of Rock Horror began playing. I must've already started watching it. I backed up from the TV and see Colin reading through my lyrics.
Oh god, which one is he reading? There's a few about my ex and I hope he hasn't picked up any of them. Oh shit, I also wrote one about him during history...
"Hey.. these are pretty good!"
He says looking up at me.
I laugh worriedly.
"Um... which one are you reading..?"
"Uh.. it's called "The other side of the story." I relate to it so much."
Oh phew
I exhale loudly, I was holding my breath for so long. Seriously if he picked up any other, that could've gone horribly wrong.
I begin picking up all the sheets and placing them back on my desk. I should really sort them all out, I just have nowhere to put them all.
I sit down next to him and he moves himself back so he can lean against the wall. I move back also, and throw a blanket over the both of us. He slowly but surely gets comfortable and brings his arm around me.
AHHHHH INTERNAL SCREAMING
I really gotta try to focus on this movieAbout halfway through the movie, my neck begins to get sore just keeping it upright for so long. I hadn't even realise I had done it, but I had rested my head against Colin's shoulder.
WHY IS HE OKAY WITH THAT?! AHHHHHHThe movie had finished eventually and as I look up at Colin, he had fallen asleep.
"Hey sleepy."
I tap him on the nose and his eyes open up. He looks down at me and laughs quietly.
"Aww did the movie finish? I missed it..."
He sounded so sad but absolutely adorable at the same time.
"It's your fault you fell asleep, stupid."
I grab my cell phone and check the time
4pm
"Listen... I hate to be like this but my dad likes to FaceTime me at 4:15 every weekday..."
"Oh.. okay it's not a problem. I'll see you at school tomorrow then."
I think for a second.
"Hang on. What if you came here before school and we could walk down together?"
He smiles at me
"I'd like that..."
He leans towards me and kisses my forehead. I look up at him and my eyes widen slightly.
"See you tomorrow..."
I watch him as he walks out the room and down the stairs. My mom shouts goodbye to him and I hear the front door open then close. I sigh.
This was truly a great day...
