ETHAN POV
''Morning Martha!''
She sang happily, ''Morning!'' I chuckled at her mood. A happy Martha makes a better atmosphere.
''Where's Jade?'' She placed a filled plate on the table.
''In her room. She's a bit cranky.''
Is It because of last night? I... I didn't mean to yell at her. Words just spilled out. I was angry at what she said. I hate it when she was selfless.
I didn't want to risk her life again. Five years of pain and regret was more than enough. I didn't want to experience them again.
I broke out of the trance as I heard footsteps. Ace and Jade walked in like little kids. Ace seemed better and Jade... She was pretty as always.
''Let's go.'' She spoke grimly, causing all three of us to look at her.
''Don't you want your breakfast?'' Martha tested her. She shook her head quietly.
''Eat something.'' I ordered. ''You didn't have anything last night too.''
''I don't want anything.''
''We're not going anywhere, if you don't'' She glared at me and I did the same. We seemed to go on until Ace cleared his throat.
''You don't want to die today, don't you?'' He whispered.
Even Tim knew not to bother her that day.

JADE POV
I was engulfed in a hug.
''I was waiting for you the whole time! Where were you?''
''Hey, you can't blame me. You know how crowded the canteen is..''
''Yeah, yeah.'' He kissed me. It was passionate. It let me know how much he loved me. He pulled me closer and we broke apart, foreheads touching, breathing hard.
''You know what?''
''What?'' I asked, knowing what would come later.
''I love you.'' I chuckled at his childish ways. He always asked me that first and I had to ask 'What' in return or he would be so mad at me the whole day.
And the next morning, that would be the first thing he would ask me again.
''Where do you want to go today?'' We walked, holding hands.
