I hopped out of the van and onto the pavement.

"Ouch." I said quietly. "Oh, fuck.". I felt the baby drop a little bit, and I held my stomach.

"You okay, honey?".

"Yeah, Billie, I'm fine.". It was the last night of the tour and I knew the baby was coming very soon. I was worried that it would be within the next few hours.

"We have to try and catch up with Mike and Tre." Billie told me, carrying his guitar.

"Okay." I mumbled, taking his hand. We walked across the parking lot, and I didn't tell him, but it was just killing me.

"Bye, Alyssa. Love you."

"Bye, BJ. See you after the show." I said. He kissed me, then I went and found my seat.

Mike's p.o.v

I stood backstage with Billie and Tre. Billie was playing his guitar, and Tre was doing sit- ups, which was a rare sight.

I came over to Billie. "Hey, is Alyssa going to be okay?" I asked him.

He stopped playing his guitar and ran his hand through his black hair. "Oh, she'll be fine. We're going back tomorrow, so don't worry about her." he told me.

"But it's hard not to worry about her when I care about her so much.". I instantly regretted those words as soon as they came out.

Billie looked at me kind of weird, and I felt myself blush.

"I mean that I care about her as a friend." I said quickly. He just nodded and went back to playing his guitar.

Nice, real nice. Billie's going to find out that I have feelings for her if I'm not careful. I told myself. I picked up my bass and started playing Longview.

"I sit around and watch the tube…" Tre sang, walking up to me.

I looked up at him and smiled. "Good singing." I told him jokingly.

"Thanks, I practiced some whale noises to warm up my voice. Good to know that it paid off.".

I gave him a small laugh. Then I looked over at Billie, still playing his guitar. My stomach tightened a little bit. If he ever found out I was in love with his wife, or that I was keeping another big secret, I'd be in deep trouble.

Alyssa's p.o.v

About halfway through the concert, I started to feel lightheaded, so I got up and went outside. I had to get away from all the excitement for a while.

"Don't come yet, don't you dare." I whispered, my hands on my stomach. "Wait until we get back to Oakland.". I leaned against the brick wall, and looked up at the sky. The moon was a small sliver, shining bright.

I went back inside and got a bottle of water. The baby was kicking up a storm inside of me. I couldn't take it anymore. I dashed to the bathroom, throwing up as soon as I got there. I knew it was only a matter of hours before I became a mother.

"Billie, the baby's coming soon. I can feel it." I said, lying on the bed in the hotel room. I shifted uncomfortably and put my hands on my stomach.

"It's okay. Stay calm." Billie said, sitting down beside me and running his fingers through my hair.

"I didn't feel good at the concert." I told him.

"I knew you should've stayed here. Look, we're going home tomorrow. You should be alright.".

"I hope so." I got under the covers and closed my eyes as Billie turned off the light. He laid down beside me, and I felt his lips on my cheek.
