Memories could be deceiving....
It was art class, her favorite. "Let's make today's class fun!" The teacher exclaimed with an energetic voice.
'Fun?!' Thought hannah as her face lit up but it faded as soon as Ms.William continued her statement, "you will be working in pairs!"This doesn't sound appealing to our eight years old Hannah anymore.
Hannah observed the kids from the back right corner. Everyone have already teamed up which made her think... 'Nobody wants to be with me...nobody likes me...' She held back her tears, as her thoughts echoed over and over. She was a total outcast.
"Hannah dear, why are you alone?" Ms.William questioned concerned, that grabbed the students attention as they all went silent and turned to Hannah.
As she felt everyone's eyes on her she trembled in fear, the tears she tried to held back were now loose.
If there was a memory Hannah would like to erase, it was Definitely this one.
Some laughed at her, some joked and others whispered. It was overwhelming.
'I can be with her!' A boy spoke out loud as he stood up.
That was a surprise for the other kids as well as Hannah. Her brown teary eyes met his blue ones.
"Thats so kind of you, Henry" Ms.William appreciated his words but with a doubtful tone. Even the teacher don't see why a popular kid like Henry wanna be paired with an outcast like Hannah.
...well since then Hannah have pretty much developed a crush on Henry.
They become best friends and her popularity rose, at least she was not an outcast anymore. He was her first friend ever...wasn't he?
Well no, he wasn't the first, but according to Hannahs memory he was.
After their art class ended, it was time for lunch.
Hannah excitedly went to him (The friend she forgot she had) to report what happened.
"Ugh! I should have been there!" The boy commented angrily, "I would have protected you.." He groaned. He looked dangerously cute.
"Pfft..." Hannah huffed, "Dk, You're all skin and bones, what could you possibly have done?"
"Hey! don't call me that..." Dweck murmured, obviously hurt by her words...you could see it in his green sparkly eyes. But Hannah was too busy to notice.
"Look! Thats Henry!" She almost yelled, jumping up and down in excitement.
Dweck took a glance in annoyance. 'He couldn't be this great...' He thought, But unfortunately for him, he was.
Days passed by and Hannah would spend more and more time with Henry and less with Dweck. She forgot about Dweck to the point where she didn't even notice that he had transferred to another school.
here we are 10 years later, hannah still has a one sided crush on Henry which he isn't aware of.
And The school have gone crazy for the new mysterious hot guy, Dweck.I guess 10 year was pretty much enough for him to glow up. To the point nobody could recall him in their memories, not even Hannah.
