Why can't I (RayxEmma)

"I'm sorry Emma but you can't work here anymore I know you are struggling to get money but, I'm sorry I'm going to have to let you go". He said.
"No please I need this job-"
"But hear me outI have a new job for you just listen to me".
"Ok"
"My nephew's friend works at a coffee shop he is the same age as you. I think you should work there". Alex said scratching his head.  Emma looked at him with disbelief.  Emma went to Alex and gave him a hug. 
"Thank you so much Alex it means so much too me.  I don't know how to thank you". Emma said while crying.
"Your welcome kiddo now go home and relax. And take care of your little brother"
"Ok Alex I promise". Emma bowed her head to show appreciation to him.
"Kid you don't need to bow please just raise your head up"
"Yeah but you have done so much for me though I don't know how to thank you."
"You can thank me by taking care of yourself and your little brother alright."
"Ok". Emma gave him the biggest genuine smile.
"Well I better get going then thank you so much Alex".
"Good luck".  Alex yells.  As Emma goes to the room were Phil is she tells Phil the news.
"So you can't work here but you offered a new job"
"Yes.  So do you want to get some ice cream since i am free for the day".

"YAY.  Can we also go to the park"

"Yeah let's go". Emma said and started packing Phil's toys and then grabbed Phil's little hand and walked out of her old job.  On their way to the ice cream shop Emma and Phil heard some yelling in the ally way. Emma walked closer in the ally way just to see if someone is hurt but Phil stopped Emma.
"Emma don't go please. Please what happens if you get hurt".

"I won't get hurt."  Emma rubbed Phil's head to conform him.
"Just wait here for me ok it's going to be quick"
"Ok".

Emma ran closer and closer to the yelling a saw a green haired girl against a wall. With three buff guys trying to do something to her.

"Give us your money and we won't have to hurt you" (Guy 1)
"No it's for charity you brainless pea now let go of me". The green girl said.
"Let's just knock her off then take her money". Said one of the guys. (Guy 2)
"I guess it wouldn't hurt". (Guy 1)

As Emma was looking for something to hit them with she found a pipe and waited for a opening.

"So are you going to give us the money or not"
"Never"

"Whatever you asked for it". As he was about to punch the girl Emma came in just in time to hit him in the balls then hits him on the head with the pipe. He quickly hits the floor.  The other 2 guys were pissed off what she had done with there friend.
"Are you Okay". (Guy 3)

"No you idiot go after them and beat them up same goes for you"

Emma quickly grabs Gilda's hand and starts running.  Once they made it outside of the ally way she quickly grabs Phil and carry's him and she starts running with Gilda. 

"Thank you um"
"Emma"
"Gilda"

"And this is Phil we have to get out of here"
"I know somewhere we can hide" Gilda said.  She starts running ahead while Emma followed behind her.

"COME HERE" (Guy 3)
"You won't get away with this" (Guy 2)
"If we keep going like this we are never giving to lose them. They need a distraction." Emma thought.
"Gilda wait" Emma stopped running.
"What are you doing-"
"I'll distract them just take care of my little brother ok"
"But-"
"Please"

"Fine just meet me at the park" Gilda started to run to the park while carrying Phil.

"Emma". Phil quietly whimpers.
"Why Idiot why you stop running you think your faster than us" (Guy 2)
"Shoot I didn't think they will this quick" Emma thought. 

Emma started to run the opposite direction we're Gilda went.
"I can't let Gilda get caught I need to form a plan fast". Emma thought.

"Come back here you rodent". (Guy 3).
"Your going to pay for this" (Guy 2).

While Guy 2 was behind getting closer to Emma.  Emma knock a trash can behind her so that Guy 2 can fall.  Guy 2 falls in the trash can while Guy 3 was behind him and slips on a banana peel.

"Shit" (Guy 2).
"Yeah you do" (Guy 3)
"Shut up she is getting away" (Guy 2)
In that little time Emma got away from them.
"Finally that took a while.  Now I just need to find Gilda".  Emma thought.  But Emma quickly got pushed on a wall.

"Haha you thought you actually could get away huh" (Guy 2) yelled at Emma. (Guy 2) grabbed both of Emma's hands and held them against the wall.  Emma was struggling to let go of his grasp.

"Stop struggling your not going to get away" (Guy 2)
Emma kept on trying and trying to let lose from his grasp but couldn't.  She knew that he was strong. And it wouldn't be easy to escape but she wanted to try.

"Why do you keep resisting? Why? You knew that you won't get away?"

"Cause I have to try.  Because what you did to Gilda was wrong she needed that money for charity.  Some people need money because they can't afford for paying hospital bills."

"So I don't give a shit about that.  You know if you didn't help her you wouldn't be in this mess. Why would you want to help her?" (Guy 2)

" cause she needed help I just couldn't stand there and do nothing." 
"Oh so who do you think you are. Just steeping in peoples problems that doesn't concern you. So by helping people you think you can be a better person? Do you think that. " (Guy 2) chuckles.
Emma puts her head down and looks down at her feet.
"I know it doesn't concern about me.  I know that.  But when someone gets hurt or is in trouble then it does. She stares right back at him.
"Just shut up all ready." (Guy 2).

"What should we do with her" (Guy 3)
"Give this idiot a reality check." (Guy 2) said and gave Emma a evil look.  Then as (Guy 3) was about to throw a punch to Emma.  Emma was waiting to be hit until she heard a splash. And noticed that someone threw cold water at both guys.  The guy was wearing a black apron, black shiny shoes, and a white bottom up shirt.
"Hey leave that poor girl alone". Said someone.
"Or what" (Guy 2)

"Then I'm calling the cops and I know you don't want that do you"   (Guy 2) let's go of Emma's hands and scoffs. 

"Let's go". (Guy 2).
"Coming" (Guy 3).   Once they left the man that threw cold water at them came running to Emma.

"Are you Okay miss"
"Yeah I'm alright but thank you for helping me back there I really appreciated it."
"Your welcome.  Wait are you Alex's old co worker".
"Yeah and you are"

"I'm Don and you must be Emma"
"Yeah did he tell you". Emma scratched her head and smiled nervously.
"Yeah he told me all about you. Oh and I wanted-". 
Then Emma remembered she left her brother with a stranger. She grew anxious.

"I'm sorry I just remembered I forgot to feed my dog"
"Wait-".   It was too late Emma started running towards to the park before don could say another word.
