part 8: time apart.

The battle of beacon had ended. Only casualties are the white fang extremists, dozens of beacon students are injured, luckily they'll heal. Adam was taken away by the authorities for treatment then life in prison. Issei kept his sword as a trophy. He went to visit Blake, he hid his wings and the gauntlet, his eyes now brown, the hospital staff didn't recognize him as the devil of beacon. They let him in and show him where she is. He knocks on her door.

Blake: come in.

He's relieved to hear her voice. He enters and as soon as he did, Yang, Ruby and Blake froze. Issei looked at them and then their scrolls, they were watching the news showing Issei killing the white fang, grimm and setting the sky on fire. He stayed by the door and spoke after a few seconds.

Issei: hey, how are you feeling?

Blake: I'm....fine...thank you....

Issei: you're scared... I don't blame you.... Weiss and the others are on their way.... All the students are okay, couple of injuries here and there but they'll be fine.

Ruby: except for Penny...

Issei: Ruby.... She's..

Ruby: an android... I know.

Issei: which is why she can be repaired. We'll see her again..... Pyrrah didn't mean to do that you know.

Ruby: how can you be so sure?

Issei: I saw the look in her eyes, she was looking in all directions when Penny was right infront of her. She saw something that wasn't there like Yang did.

Ruby: .......

Issei: take care...

He walks out the door and leaves the hospital. As soon as he does he sees Weiss stop right in her tracks and looks at him.

Issei: room 326. She's okay.

Weiss: ....we'll talk later Issei.

She runs past him into the hospital. He sees other teams coming and flies away. He flies straight towards beacon, it's heavily damaged.

Issei: it'll take months to fix this.

Ddraig: yes it will. What will you tell them?

Issei: ..... nothing yet.

Ddraig: All of Remnant saw...

Issei: it's dark, they didn't see my face clearly in both videos. If they're afraid of me then I'll just go somewhere else. There are 5 continents here to choose from.

Ddraig: running away isn't the answer partner.

Issei: it's kept me sane so far.....

He reaches beacon and checks if his dorm is still in one piece. To his relief, it is, he stays there for a while, thinking about how scared everyone is as soon as they see him.

Ddraig: they'll get over it.

Issei: hope so. I like it here.

Ddraig: it is nice. You did become a badass. Setting fire to the sky, devil wings out, you put the fear of the devil in them.

Issei: wait till they see what we can really do. Hahaha

Later, he walks around beacon, he sees the melting ice shards, students and staff talking, patching up any minor injuries but as soon as he walks by they stop talking and look at him. Ironwood comes forward.

Ironwood: Mr. Hyoudo. The devil of beacon. You're coming with us.

Issei: on what grounds general?

Ironwood: general's orders.
