jaemin walked to school happily.

he was unconsciously jumping with each step he took, asking himself if school was still far or if he would get there soon.

donghyuck was walking behind him – more like sulking.

he hated seeing jaemin this happy because of mina.

why?

he didn't know.

it just bothered him.

as if jaemin was his human. and no one else.

the two boys arrived at school less than an hour after, to jaemin's biggest pleasure.

"hello!" he exclaimed, sitting next to mina.

"hello, jamein." she replied with a big smile. "you look happy today."

"that's because i just saw you." he said, winking at the girl.

mina chuckled as donghyuck faked a gag behind jaemin's back.

flirty jaemin was an awkward jaemin.

"you seem bothered."

donghyuck looked at his right, seeing a boy seated on a desk.

judging by the looks, it had to be an angel.

"huh... did i talk to you?" donghyuck raised a brow, crossing his arms.

"you surely didn't. but i did." the angel said, standing up and approaching donghyuck.

the demon stared at the angel's hand that was held out.

"i'm mark. mina's angel. who are you?"

"donghyuck. i'm jaemin's." he replied, not shaking mark's hand.

"oh, i see." mark chuckled. "quite protective of your human."

mark glanced at his human and the boy she was talking to.

they seemed to be in a deep conversation, too busy to care about their surroundings.

"mina is a sweet girl." mark said. "i taught her well."

"and jaemin isn't good for her." donghyuck replied unconsciously.

the demon didn't know what was happening to him.

it was as if he was jealous of his human having another friend. a human one. and a girl.

he hated the sight of them enjoying their conversation while he was stuck with an annoying angel.

"too bad..." mark shrugged. "because let me tell you, mina is quite interested in your boy..."
