"You mother fucker!" The team heard from up the stairs as they stepped into the house.

"Welcome to our home- sorry about the insane woman who happens to live here" Morgan chuckled holding the door open as the group wondered in looking around at the interior of the house that most of them hadn't been in before despite Morgan and Athena living there for a while.

Aside from Garcia, none of the other members of the team had been there and once Penelope realised that she practically forced them to have a very belated 'housewarming dinner' which Athena was very much against.

"I don't do hosting- I'm a guest, I like to be a nuisance. I can't be a nuisance if it's my dinner party, it's no fun when it's your stuff you're breaking" Athena sighed, adding the finale touches to the mural she was painting as she talked to Morgan on the phone whilst he picked up grocery's for the dinner party that evening.

"It'll be fun, I mean our last 'housewarming dinner' we attended was my moms and that didn't exactly go the best- we can make our one great, you love a competition, just think of it like that" he chuckled and tried to read the list she had scribbled on the back of a napkin for him.

"I can't compete with Fran's hosting- the lady had two different sets of cutlery, two Morgan. I don't think we even have matching plates at this point, Rossi is gonna call us poor" she added the finale touches to the celestial wall she had created. The nursery walls were re-painted a dreamy, dark dusty blue and the mural wall was covered with golden yellow, celestial stars that made the wall look like an old stargazing map that was painted around an ethereal crescent moon in the centre of the wall that she had copied out of an old astrology story book she read as a child to comfort her. Morgan brought it for her after she told him about it mindlessly one night. She burst into tears when he had given it to her which panicked him for a second before she reassured him it was happy tears at his gesture. Reading the book again, looking at the artwork- she finally understood where her comfort from the moon came from.

"Have you almost finished the mural? I can't believe you won't let me see it" Morgan continued their conversation on his way back from the grocery store as he drove.

"Just added the finale touches to the moon side- oh shit, I mean forget that" she said, accidentally revealing what part of the mural was. Morgan let out a loud laugh at her frustration.

"Forget what?" He joked to make her feel better.

"You're the best sometimes" she chuckled and put away the paints, pulling off the furniture coverings and finishing decorating the room to reveal it to him when he got back. She had gone full force over the weekend at completely re-decorating and finishing the nursery. She made Morgan promise not to peak into it because she had a huge 'big brain moment' (as she called it) one night about how it should be and re-drew out the sketch of the room entirely. She locked herself in there for the vast majority of the weekend, only coming out when Morgan made her eat and forced her to sleep despite her arguing that she wasn't tired as she yawned. He heard power tools and saws, ample amounts of swearing and hilarious taunts at the furniture or walls when it didn't look the way she wanted it to.

He heard her wince as he pulled into the drive.

"I wish you would have let me help you, you're literally almost over 6-months pregnant and having Braxton Hicks contractions now- I don't think you should have been operating power tools and completely re-doing a room whilst you were going through that" he said as he grabbed the groceries and walked up to the door, it opened before he could open it and he couldn't help his smile at her.

"You took for-fucking-ever" she mocked, he just stared at her with a smile. His eyes glancing around her body at her outfit. She was wearing one of his old crew neck, grey t shirts with the sleeves rolled up under her oversized white painter overalls that were barely white anymore with all the various paint splatters on them. She had on odd socks, her usual necklace he had gotten her over her t-shirt and her hair had been pulled back into a low bun but now had hair spilling out of it onto her face and had various paintbrushes and pencils stuck into the bun. Morgan couldn't help his adoration at her growing bump that pressed against her overalls at 24 weeks pregnant. She still was smaller than she was meant to be at this point but he was happy she was starting to have a proper visible bump and happier that she didn't seem to be hiding it or upset by her growing stomach.
