I relaxed somewhat. "I'm going if Percy's going."

"Of course," Athena scoffed. "Where is he anyway as?"

"Camp Half-Blood," I answered. "He wanted to show Logan."

"Really?" Athena raised an eyebrow. "With my daughter there and you here?"

"This is something he needs to do to move on," I explained. "Besides, I told Artemis so she can tell Thalia so they'll be fine."

Athena's silence at that was not encouraging.

We crested Camp Half-Blood Hill to see the wonderful camp I called home for a time. The look of awe was almost amusing to see on Logan's and Peter's face. Not much had changed since I've been here from the looks of it. I could almost imagine that I had never left.

Conch horns blared and we were surrounded by campers in orange t-shirts and weapons out, in our faces. A familiar curly haired, blonde was in front. She brought her dagger close to poor Peter's face. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

Silence.

Then:

"If I get stabbed again, Mom might actually kill you!"

Ok so showing up at camp unannounced may not have been the best idea.

Logan was the one to shout that at me and it kind of took the campers by surprise. Who would have expected the intruders to shout that kind of thing at each other? Annabeth's blade must have been too close to Peter's face for her liking.

I opened my mouth to say something but was interrupted by my favorite daughter of Ares.

"Annabeth! You do realize that you are threatening a child, right? Put your dagger away!" The crowd parted to allow my saving grace in a red bandana through. I haven't seen her since the Chitari fight in New York. It also seemed like she recognized me. I returned her smile with a wink.

I could feel Annabeth roll her eyes as she put her dagger away. I didn't think I could still have that sensation after being away for so long. I guess somethings just don't change. "Clarisse-"

"Wait, you're Clarisse? The Clarisse La Rue? Daughter of Ares, slayer of the Drakon. You are my role model! I wanted to be you since I was old enough to understand my bed time stories. Gods, I didn't want to go to college and get an education for a while because I wanted to lead an army like you, my mother almost killed me on that one. Then she reminded me that I was way to young to make that decision."

I looked on in amusement as Logan ceased her rambling in her embarrassment and watched Clarisse's heart soften like butter. There was no escaping this. She is now part of the Logan Barnes protection squad. I heard even Dionysus got pulled in.

"How would you know anything about Clarisse? Who are your godly parents?" Annabeth looks between Logan and Peter suspiciously. I could tell that she was close to taking her dagger out again.

Logan looked at Peter and me, confused, only for her eyes to widen in shock and her hand to jump up to protect her face. A flash of light reflecting off metal sent panic through my spine and I rushed forward as if to push her out of the way. But the weirdest thing happened. Out of the earth rose a mass of vines and...bones? I half expected the vines, she pulled those out of the ground in Sokovia but bones? That was new.
