Chapter 15: Latin Time

Melody's POV

"So for our next assignment, we're only doing songs, written or performed by someone Latin, or of Latin descent. Or English songs performed bilingually" Mr. Schue said as he wrote on the board. I was just sitting behind Santana as we both looked confused.

"Figgins def threatened him" I whispered to her as she nods.

"More like a deadline. There's an open spot for a tenure" she said as I rolled my eyes. That's why he wants to put more effort in his job. Kevin walked in with Eric and Juyeon. Where is Jacob?

"Sorry we are late, Jacob is in the nurse" Eric said as I looked at Kevin who just shook his head.

"He is fine, he was flirting with a girl when he banged into an open locker. He will be here soon" Juyeon spoke as I giggled, I could totally picture his face after getting smacked.

"Ooh, I'm Bilingual" Brit said as I shook my head.

"No, Brit you are bisexual, totally different thing" I commented as she nodded but Santana spoke up after me.

"Uh, Mr. Schue, though I love that we're finally getting all Lima Sound Machine in here, why now?" she asked as he looked back at her.

"Also please don't tell me Berry is going to do that while she is wearing those ugly leggings?" I asked as Berry just looked down at what she was wearing. Kevin laughed as I high-five with him and Mr. Shue just ignored us.

"Oh, Santana, because it's long overdue. The truth is, I love all things Latin. I mean I love Latin food, Latin art, Latin people..." he said as he started to list things off his fingers as I just scoffed at his wording.

"Aka the women" I whispered as Santana laughed and we high-fived a bit as he glared my way. I don't care, he is a narcissistic man slut.

"You don't know any Latin people" Santana chimed in as she cut him off, but right as he was about to talk to her there was a knock at the door. We all looked to see a good-looking tan guy in his mid 30-40s. He was obviously of Latin descendent.

"Sorry I'm late, I was flossing" the man spoke in Spanish as Santana and I looked up at him.

"And who are you, sir?" I asked back in fluent Spanish he looked up as I spoke from my spot next to Santana and Kevin.

"Well hello, my name is David Martinez. I am here to help teach Spanish as your very nice teacher is learning from me at night" he said as I just look amused as well as Santana. So Mr. Schue doesn't know any Spanish so he going to night classes to make up for what he teaches us? Pathetic.

Mr. Schue looked confused between us. Confused and a bit nervous.

"Uhh, yeah I know. Um... Guys, this is David Martinez, David Martinez, this is the Glee Club" Mr. Schue said as he gestured to us all. I just leaned forward to Santana as she leaned back.

"You know he is only here to save Mr. Schue's ass for not knowing a damn thing about Latin culture, right?" I asked as she nodded slowly. I leaned back to sit correctly in my seat. David just smiled as Mr. Schue introduced him to the class. Everyone mainly the girls just stared at him.

"oh my god, cutest"

"Smile"

"Ever" Berry, Sugar, and Artie all said as they finished each other's sentence. I rolled my eyes as Berry openly ogled David, even though she is in a relationship with my brother who by the way is sitting right next to her.

"Hello everyone, It's an honor to be here with you." he said as he finished the rest in Spanish.

"it's a pleasure" he added, Sugar was almost falling off her seat and Berry was basically drooling at this point. And no offense but I think Artie just turned gay for a bit or at least a bit Bisexual.
