Chapter 18: Brittana and Weddings

Melody's POV

Ugh, I hate this day. It's the worst damn day of all the days.

Valentine's Day.

Cause your girl here is a single Pringle. I watched as all the couples were being cute and all that bullshit. I looked to see that even Kevin and Jacob were bromancing. I watched as Eric was clinging to Juyeon who just looked at me. I laughed as he tried to walk to me but Eric was just hugging his side.

"Okay, guys. Today you will be singing to your loved ones and sing the true meaning of love" Mr. Schue said as everyone all got happy and I was just annoyed. Sugar then got up and talked about something with some V-day party at Breadsticks but no single people since they are and I quote "sad and lonely losers" or something like that. I didn't really pay attention as I am single and have no one so I won't be going either way. They all spoke as I just paid attention to my songwriting. I focused on the chorus and then have Tana do the other verses in Spanish.

I hummed the rest of the beat as I tapped my pencil on my notebook.

"That is really nice, the words" I looked up to see Juyeon. With no Eric attached to his leg.

"Oh, thanks. I need to write two more songs and then perform at the iheartradio concert" I explained as he nodded.

"How is that like? Performing, we haven't debuted but I'm excited but then also scared" he said as I thought about it.

"My first time performing on stage was very nerve-wracking. I actually tripped walking on the stage" I said as he looked surprised.

"What happened?!" He asked as I just shrugged.

"I got up and instantly made a joke about it and then quickly sang my song." I said as he just nodded then the bell rang as I got my stuff together.

"Anyone special that has caught your eye for this lovely red and pink day?" I asked as he shrugged to himself.

"Only one but I don't know how to approach them" he said as I nod. Eric follows us and he hugs my side.

"Well, are you guys going to bring a date to Sugar's party?" Eric asked as I shook my head as they looked at me.

"You aren't going to bring a date?" Eric asked as I shrugged my shoulders.

"This day sucks enough that I'm single, no valentine, and I have no date. So I'm not even going, oh shoot I got to get to Math before I get another late. We will talk later" I said as I ran down the hall.

Eric's POV

I watched as she ran away from us and we both had a free period.

"You should ask her out" I said as he looked at me like I was crazy.

"Hyung, I know you like her" I said as he looked confused and quickly shoved me into a classroom.

"How do you know?!" He said as I just look at him. Oh my god, he is cute being all scared. I patted his head and he glared at me.

"My poor hyung, everyone knows but you two" I said as he swatted my hand away from him.

"I think you need to sing to her" I said to him but he just looked really discouraged. I whacked him on the side of the head and he held where I hit him, he glared at me as I laughed.
