Chapter 19

Naiara's POV

The past twelve hours have been the worst, I haven't seen Chris, I miss him so bad, but I'm now on my way to the trail in hopes that they will let him go, but first I have to pick up Drake Ugghh, this is all his fault, I haven't seen Crawford around though, It's his brother so I think I should call him to check him out. I took my phone out of my back pocket and I had a missed call from Maria, I guess I'll have to call her first. "Hello? Maria?" I say in confusion "*sniff* Naiara?" She says, of course she's crying, that immediately preoccupied me, "Hey, What's wrong?" I say in hope of not such a bad response "I miss him okay" she cries "I really do, and I know I had all the right to break up with him and we got in our relationship very fast but *sniff* I love him." She cries again "Maria, I think you should talk to him, and I know, we all three got in our relationships with the boys very fast *I giggle* but that's the way it is and I'm happy, sort of. And If you two are seriously meant to be together then you'll work out everything without major problems" I said hoping she got everything that I just said. She giggles calming her tears "Thank you" she says, I smile and hang up, I knew she needs a long time to fix things with Crawford, she also has to think about it, but I really hope they do. I grab my purse and start heading to the door until I remember I have to call Crawford, but I guess I'll call him later, I'm sure he's talking with Maria. So I come out, get in the car, and start driving to Drake's house...

Crawford's POV

While I was driving on my way to the trail, my phone started vibrating, it was an incoming call, I answered as soon as I saw it was Maria, which was weird because I thought she will never want to talk to me again, I'm lucky, "Maria?" I said hoping she didn't call to say any bad news, "Um, Crawford, I... I... Really need to talk to you, in person, but after the trail" she said sort of unsure "Um.. Yea sure no problem" I said kind of confused and interested in what she will talk to me about, until I heard a honk from the truck behind me, I blinked three times jumping out of my thoughts and looked at the traffic lights and they were green so I moved on, just when I arrived Naiara did too, we got out of the cars and then Drake did too, he was smiling, haha and Naiara had a disgust face. Then Larissa came out, she looked like she haven't slept in two days, maybe it's because of what happened with Matthew, which was actually totally wrong, even though what I did is worse. Then Maria came out she looked down, that party was a huge mistake for all of us. Naiara came over to me and right when she was about to tell me something Drake interrupted her "Can we get over with this? We all know Chris is staying in jail and maybe I will too" he said and Naiara shook her head as her eyes watered up but she hold on her tears, I wanted to hug her but after what happened I don't know if it will be...okay, okay, okay, I'll just hug her. And surprisingly she hugged back, Maria just ignored us, I hope she doesn't takes this the wrong way. "Crawf?" Naiara softly says as we pull back, "Yeah?" I reply concerned. "I think Maria should talk to you, the trail doesn't begin in an hour and I'm going to see Chris" she says, and then looks at Maria, back at me, and half smiles, then when she's passing by on her way in she whispers "good luck" and I hope I do have some. I decided to make the "first move" so I slowly came over to her, she looked at me and her eyes watered up immediately, I smirked and my right, and strong dimple cheek projected as it always does, Then I saw a tear rolling down Maria's cheek, I couldn't handle myself I just hugged her, and she hugged me back but insecurely. She looked up to me with puppy eyes and blushed cheeks from holding up her tears, seeing her like that made my heart feel like it dropped all the way down to my feet.

~MEANWHILE~

Matthew's POV

Okay, It's time to express myself, I feel like the worst person ever, I hurt the girl I love, but she also hurt me... *remembering what happened at the party* After a bunch of people came, a strange girl came over to me, she looked like Larissa, it was blurry, but she started kissing me, I just kissed back, I thought she was Larissa like already stated, but then some dudes came and reclaimed me why I was doing that, Uduh she's my girlfriend so I just pushed them and ignored them but then when my vision was clearing up I saw her..... Kissing someone, that's when I realized the girl I was making out with wasn't Larissa, I tried to come closer, and it was.... Chris! I couldn't believe it, I just ran away and called a cab so it could take me home, then when I got there, my dad fighting with someone, he looked at me and signaled me to go away, that's what I did, then I went to some weird motel and stayed there the night, all I did was watch tv, some crying, and thought about what happened the whole night. The next thing I hear from my "friends" Is that Chris is in jail, Larissa is falling in depression, Maria broke up with Crawford, and Naiara's friendship with Larissa might be over for what happened, but no one is sure.
