"Would you like to go out tonight?...... Like a boy's night" he said smiling

"No.... I've had enough of those "boy's nights"... Besides, I don't feel so good today" I replied, he half smiled and patted my shoulder "Okay bro" he said, I raised my eyebrows and left. I went downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed some snacks, figured a way to entertain myself on my room with Netflix and fell asleep on my bed.

When I woke up by the sound of the front door I knew Matt already left so I slept like three or two hours, I called him but he didn't answer.... I guess he was just busy. I went to the living room but no one was there either, The house was empty, no soul trace. Then my phone started buzzing. It was Naiara, I immediately picked up the phone.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey... H-have you seen Crawford?" She asked between sobs.

"Uh, um, no.. What's wrong?" I asked as I sat down on the couch in the living room.

"N-nothing... Just watching The Fault in Our Stars again," lame excuse. "Um.. Okay.... I'll let you know if I see Crawf" I sighed "Thanks," she hung up.

I started dialing Crawford until he finally answered.

"Hello?" he said.

"Hey Crawf it's me Chris, Naiara is looking for you," I told him and he sighed "Just tell her I'm busy..." I frowned, "Um.. Okay... How're things with Maria?" I asked and he hung up right away.

Though it surprised me a little I didn't mind it so I went to the parking lot to find my car, I got in and started driving. As I was driving to Crawf's I started thinking about how most of the things that have been happening were senseless, and so out of line, for a moment I closed my eyes in search for peace and orientation in my thoughts. Thing is.... I didn't open them.
