Chapter 20

Chris's POV

Larissa went to the bathroom and filled a bucket with water, I got a little scared because I already knew what she was going to do, then she went to Naiara's room and I followed her, when she was about to throw the bucket on Naiara's body I stopped her, "Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked concerned "yup" she said throwing all the water on Naiara, she woke up and looked at both of us like if the devil had just possessed her, I can't deny I got scared, but I don't know about Larissa, she was just laughing as she started running from Naiara, I shook my head and laughed a little. But then Naiara looked at me worse than that time she was told I cheated on her... I got sort of scared and worried at the same time, that's when I knew she wasn't mad about the water, then she just ran away.

I followed her but then a guy stopped me, "what are you doing?" He asked with a raspy voice, "Well I'm following that girl any problem with that?" I replied "Yes" he said as he punched me in the face.

Guy's POV

I smiled as he fell on the ground, then I followed Naiara.

Naiara's POV

I ran as fast as I could so the guy couldn't catch neither Chris or I, but then I turned and Chris was on the floor and the guy was almost right beside me while running, It was nonsense, I just stopped running. "What do you want?" I asked extremely concerned about Chris, "I want, well, need you". "For what?" I asked, "I'll tell you later" he said grabbing my arm and taking me to his car, an old black car.

I saw he entered a subterranean parking lot, I think it was a mall's one, I saw he opened the car's door "get out" he shortly said. I came out, I couldn't think much, all I could think about was when I saw Chris on the floor and the small pond of blood. "What are you going to do?" I asked "you, are coming with me, to the mall, and pretend you love me, then we'll see". He replied.

As we came in the mall he smiled and pushed me a little as a sign for me to smile, I tried my best fake smile. Then he turned face to face to me and raised his eyebrows and moved his lips a little as a kiss sign. I looked down and remembered about Chris, then looked back at him with my eyes already watered up. He rolled his eyes and grabbed my arm while dragging me to the emergency stairs.

Guy's POV

As I saw she was tearing up, oh god, I couldn't handle that piece of shit crying now. I dragged her to the stairs and threw her. Then I sat down while whistling until she finished rolling to the ground.

Chris's POV

Even though I looked awful, had a stain of blood on my shirt, and some small cuts on the face, just when I woke up I followed them, I couldn't let that dutch bag hurt her, as I was about to go upstairs to the main mall's floor I saw a girl rolling down the stairs when she fell on the ground, right in front of me, I noticed it was Naiara. I got on my knees and tried to wake her up but she was just bleeding and didn't make any breathing sounds, when I saw the right time she stopped breathing and kept bleeding, hundreds of tears rolled down my cheeks, all at the same time. I just held on her head in my right arm, and the rest of her body on my left hand, I picked her up and then sat on the floor, layed her by my side, and called 911.

~AT THE HOSPITAL~

While I was sitting in the waiting room, okay, I know I should be with a doctor checking out if there's something really wrong with me, but I really need to know if she will survive, "Sir, are you here with.. Naiara?" a nurse said making me jump out of my thoughts. "Yea, any news?" I said hoping they would be good news. "Well, there are bad news, and also good news" she paused a little until she continued talking... "The news are that she hasn't been declared dead. She's still alive. But not responding to anything." I half smiled and nodded as I response for what she just said, but then I started to question myself, "So she's.. In comma?" I asked "well, we cannot say comma yet, we don't really now how to explain her status right now, but, we will tell you as soon as we now. I sighed and nodded in understanding, "But.. Can I see her?" I asked "I'm sorry you can't right now, but meanwhile you can stay in the waiting room, or.. Maybe check you out.." She said studying my face and the blood stain on my shirt. I sighed and turned around on my way out to the waiting room again, but I was stopped by a sharp pain on my back. Then everything went black and I felt my body just fell on the ground.

~2 HOURS LATER~

The next thing I know when I opened my eyes is that I was in a hospital room, and from a little window I could see a girl crying in the room right beside mine, I tried to focus on who the girl was and.... That's when I realized it was... Naiara? I frowned and got exalted. I looked down to myself and there were so many small tubes and weird stuff around me and plugged into me, I started trying to rip them off of me.

Naiara's POV

I was just told that Chris wouldn't be able to survive, someone stabbed him, and I would have to wait for results to see if I would be able to walk again soon, the weird thing is, that I was more worried about Chris then for myself. I looked to the small window beside me that connected both rooms, mine and someone else's, when I turn to see there was a guy.....wait... CHRIS?! He was ripping off everything from him, I couldn't let him do that, I tried to move myself but I couldn't all I would feel is pain, I saw a wheel chair beside me and tried to sit on it, but I couldn't, when I looked back at the window Chris wasn't there, then I got scared, he was just operated, I sighed and tried again but then I heard a creeking sound as the door opened, I stopped and laid back down like nothing just happened,when I looked up, it was Chris, my eyes immediately widen when I saw him, he just smiled and started to come closer to me still smiling, I laughed a little "What are you doing?" I laughed, he just laughed a little and softly pressed his lips on mine. When we pulled back, he laughed little and sat beside me, I smiled but it turned into a frown when the doctor came in with a worried look on his face, he cleared his throat and started to speak.

"Okay, Naiara will be able to walk, but not so soon, maybe months... Chris.. You will be alright to go home in maybe a week... Not such a long time comparing with the Miss here, he said referring to Naiara"

The time passed and there were just three days left for Naiara to leave the hospital.

-At home-

Chris's POV

I was already at home about to be on my way to a friend's house when Crawford stopped me.

"I need your help" he shortly said.

"What's wrong Crawf?" I asked.

"There's an amazing girl who's into you, and she won't leave me alone until you at least see her, I know you have a girlfriend, but please, at least hug her or something, it's not such a big deal" Crawford replied.

"Crawf, where is she? Promise it will be fast." I said

"Umm... Imma give you her direction, okay?" He said looking for a piece of paper to write down the directions.

I rolled my eyes, "Okay."

He handed me a piece of paper I took a quick look at it, came out of the house and followed the directions 'till I finally got there.

It was a small blue apartment, which seemed to have some five floors or something. I came in and pressed the 4B button, and the door opened with a short buzz.

I came in and made my way up to her apartment, I rang the doorbell twice and a beautiful blonde girl with green eyes opened the door, she gave me a warm hello smile "Hi Chris" she smiled.

"Hey" I smiled, I came in and sat on the couch, she sat beside me and we began to talk.

After twenty minutes of getting to know each other I really liked her, but I'm not sure if it's in the way it's supposed to be.

She began to come closer to me and I smiled, then we eye contacted each other for some five seconds and the next thing I knew we were already making out.
