A Dreamer's Dream (A Collins Key Fanfic)

Chapter 10

My heart wasn't beating.

I was shaking uncontrollably.

I started screaming again.

In the middle of my screaming I heard the door open and close. Mom's home.

I jumped off my bed and ran to the front door.

"Mom! Mom mom mom mom! Guess what guess what guess what!"

"Woah woah woah, slow down. What happened??"

"Collins is going on tour with Demi Lovato and because I'm a Keyper Crew Captain I get free VIP tickets! We get to hang out a bit before the meet and greet too! Mom can I go please????"

She laughed a little, "Calm down honey. I'll talk it over with your dad first. Where is this concert anyway?"

"Not sure, I just found this out. Thus the screaming " I laughed a little, "Ill go look it up a minute"

"You do that, I have dinner to start,"

I skipped back up the stairs to my room. I plopped on my bed and began searching for tour dates and locations.

I found a link for tickets and clicked on it. I scrolled through all the tour dates and found the one closest to me.

Grand Rapids. About 40 minutes away.

I rolled off my bed and walked out toward the kitchen,
"Moooooom, it's in Grand Rapids"

"Grand Rapids huh? Well we'll see, like I said, I'll talk to your dad"

"If I can go can I take becca?"

"Sure, you two will have more fun than I will with you" she smiled a little and laughed.

"Yay! Thanks mom!"

I ran back to my room and called becca,

"Hello?"

"You, me, private meet and greet, free VIP tickets, Collins. All in Grand Rapids this March 23rd"

She screamed, "CAITLIN ARE YOU SERIOUS OH MY GOSH NO WAY CAITLIN!!! IM COMING OVER,"

Five minutes later Becca was running in the door. Once she was close enough, she jumped onto the bed and tackled me.

"WE'RE GOING TO SEE COLLINS!! AHHHH OH MY GOSH YESSSS"

We screamed in unison then were silent.

I had a huge smile on my face, shaking as I imagined what would happen that night.

I could ask him if he remembers me from last time. I could ask to do some magic tricks for him. Would we take selfies?? Maybe he would follow some of my closest keyper sisters that don't have his follow yet.

Another idea popped into my head and in the same instant I jumped toward Becca,

"BECCA, WE COULD ASK HIM TO COME TO MY BIRTHDAY PARTY".

She jumped in reaction to me getting all excited again, her face went blank for a moment as she processed what I said,

"OH MY GOSH WE COULD! What if he says yes again?"

"AGG WHAT IF HE DOES"

I looked down toward the floor, murmuring "oh my gosh" over and over and shaking even harder now.

I could just see him standing there, Becca and I freaking out. Asking him if he wanted to come to my birthday party, and him saying yes.

I stopped myself there.

I'm jumping ahead of myself. What if my parents say we can't go? What if we forget to ask? What if we do ask but he says no?

I had finally calmed down enough to stop shaking.

Becca and I looked at each other at the same time, both of us smiled.

I exhaled slightly.

"Want to go play some just dance?"

"YESS"

We raced out of the room laughing and trying not to trip down the stairs.
