I lost my balence and fell onto my bed.
What the heck just happened. Was that a coincidence?? Or was he the one that bought me the flowers??
No that can't be it, how would he have known about the flower sale? How would he have told my school he wanted to buy any?? Would the school had let him do that? Why me?
Wait maybe that's why my mom was in the office, she was ordering them for him.
That explains the little 'I'm up to something' smirks she's been giving me... And the key. That was probably my mom's hint to me as to who they came from. That would also explain why she was acting so funny when I got home... The "special someone" who isn't a boyfriend has to be him. Who else would it be??
I needed answers before I got myself all worked up over something that didn't really happen....
I got my phone out and decided to try tweeting Collins. I took a picture of the flowers, mostly focusing on the tag, and tweeted it to Collins in response to his tweet:
"Hey Collins, how's this for a coinsidence?? I got them in school today :)".
I didn't know what to do with myself while I was waiting for the reply I probably wouldn't get anyway.
I put my phone down next to me on the bed and got out my deck of cards to practice some tricks.
I hardly had the cards in my hands when my phone screen lit up with a tweet:
"@CollinsKey: @carrollc17 It's not a coincidence ;)"
I screamed and threw my phone across the room.
My best friend Becca came running into the room. "What's wrong??"
I screamed again and fell off the side of the bed, "When did you get here???"
"Just a few minutes ago, we were going to hang out tonight remeber?"
"Oh yeah, that's right. Sorry, I got distracted by school and fangirling."
"Oh?? Has something happened since I've seen you at lunch?? Why were you just screaming?"
"Yeah, I'm probably over reacting about it though. You know, the fangirl side of my brain takes over really fast sometimes."
She laughed, "Well what happened then?"
I started telling her the story from when I saw my mom in the office earlier in the week. I showed her the flowers and the tweets from Collins.
"And so you know, the fangirl mind took over and thought Collins sent them, and then he tweets me this when you walked in and scared the crap out of me."
She laughed again, "Sorry about that by the way. But dude, I think there's enough evidence to safely jump to the conclusion that he bought those for you."
"Do you think so?? I mean I think there is too but I don't want to belive something that only happened and makes sense in my crazy fangirl mind."
"Let me see that tag again,".
I handed her the tag and tried to calm down a bit.
After staring at the tag with a very serious face and mumbling "Uh huh... hmmmm" she looked me straight in the eye and said "Girl, I think you just got flowers from freaking Collins Key,".
