I got dressed for the upcoming day by putting on a simple [f/c] hoodie and jean shorts. Perhaps chains would be a nice accessory? Hmm... Or perhaps a necklace for today?
[Please pick an accessory; it will look as you please.]
I brushed my [h/l] hair and reached for the door.
I should meet up with the others; I wonder what they've been up to?
The stores had already started opening this early morning so I took the liberty of buying some food for myself.
Now that I think about it... That same dream had kept on appearing during the last few days.
Was it meant to do with Sol? He is the strongest person I know, so why didn't they go to him?
It felt strangely frustrating...I never thought that something I've done my whole life, or in my previous life, would be so burdening. I did want to save them... But how?
I gazed down to the floor, watching my feet move as I slipped into my subconscious. My hand skimmed across the wooden railing of a cottage-core themed cafe, though I didn't bother to look up.
Without realising, I had bumped into a sturdy chest. The person was obviously skinny; had they been starved so much to the point of bone exposure?
"... Y/n..."
I instantly retracted myself. This voice, this scent; I should've recognised it sooner.
"Haruto... "
The tall boy frowned, his head tilted to one side. I reached for my neck, my cheeks flushing as I remembered the warmth and dampness of his breath.
... It felt weird...
"Did you not miss me, Y/n? " He inched closer towards me. His scars and obvious muscles bulged as he clenched his fists, displeasure and uncertainty written across his face.
"Haruto... I have to go meet my friends, so... "
I back away again. I shouldn't be afraid, but I can't help it. I cannot forget the previous relationship I'd had with the white haired boy, who'd call after me as we ran through wisteria forests. The little boy who I had wiped the tears off of as he sobbed over a dead frog's few-day-old corpse.
But I also want to acknowledge that he has feelings; even if I may not feel the same way.
Haruto grabbed my shoulders as gravity pulled me down without my knowledge. He smiled, the same way he used to, as his white hair brushed my [s/c] face. His red eyes beamed as they explored my [e/c] ones.
"Y/n? " Haruto broke away his gaze when he heard the voice of the twelve year old.
"Y/n, who's that? "I cleared my throat as the boys, Killua and Gon approached us.
"Gon, Killua... This is... Um, an old friend... " Haruto seemed displeased with the introduction.
"And who are you two? " He snapped. "You're both quite short and scrawny. "
These three are not going to work...
"Haruto. Leave the boys alone! Their names are Killua and Gon, and they're my friends. What did you want from me?"
"Y/n, let's go, we got a way to get into the game. We thought you'd like to join us. "
I nodded to Gon, forgetting Haruto was still there.
"Oi! " The white haired boy sneered as he held onto my wrist. "You were the one who taught me of mannerism! I just wanted to ask you something... "
I heaved a small sigh. Haruto... He is still my family, after all... Is this really all I taught him??
Smiling, I told the boys to go on.
Killua eyed Haruto and I. He was questioning us, wasn't he? Though, he remained silent.
Soon after, the two left leaving behind—
A cloth covered my mouth as a strong unbreakable grip matched itself into me.
WHAT THE?!
"I'm sorry, Y/n. I'm just so lonely without you." Chills ran down my spine as time seemed to slow.
My eyes started to shut as I powerlessly struggled for air. I was meant to be strong! I am- I am supposed to be! So what is happening?!
I felt the curve of a smile as Haruto brushed his cheek against mine.
"You didn't notice, Y/n? I thought you would've by now... "
Haruto's nen enveloped half of York New, bringing along raging tremors.
"I'm far stronger than you. Nee. San~"
I whimpered in his arms, my eyes finally closing...

Haruto's POVI let out a laugh. At last I was victorious! Finally!
I tapped on the glass coffin I had put Y/n in. Three holes nestled on the frame as her delicate body was cradled by the silk pillows I'd placed in there for comfort. The evergreen forest I had created for us to live in bloomed with flora, excitedly awaiting for her eyes to reach them.
The white dress and [f/flower] crown I had changed her into matched her well.
I had waited so long for this day...
Why didn't she leave me?
She was obviously wary of me.
So.... A-ah.... Does she....Does she love me??
I blushed uncontrollably at the thought. Did she also love me? I traced her face with my finger tips as I gazed at her sleeping figure.
I smiled bitterly. Perhaps I would never be able to see her smile again...
She was in an eternal slumber, after all.
