That next morning was just the same as all of the others.
1: Woken up by Luna
2: Get dressed
3: Eat breakfast
4: Head to class

You were sitting in charms class when you remembered that the date you've been dreading was tomorrow. The first task of the Tri-Wizard tournament. You've been distracted because of homework and your girlfriend of course, that you didn't realize how close it was.

"It's tomorrow" You said while sitting down at the Ravenclaw table.

"The date? It'll be the 24th of November." Luna said confused.

"Luna-"

"Oh! The first task."

"I'm really worried about Harry and Cedric."

"You shouldn't be. I saw Hermione in the hallway and she said that Harry figured out what the task is. He should be prepared."

"Do you know what the task is?"

"Sorry but you might need to talk to Harry. That's what Hermione told me."

"That's fine. I'm gonna go try and find Harry."

"Eat first! Food is important, love."

So, after eating you scanned down the whole Gryffindor table with no sight of Harry. You ran out into the hallways to see if he was just leaving. You needed to tell Cedric what the task was.

Suddenly you heard shouting coming from behind you.

"Y/N/N! Hey! Y/N Diggory!"

You turned around to see your brother going towards you.

"Oh hi Cedric. Do you know where Harry is?"

"Not sure. Why?"

"I've gotta talk to him about the first task."

"There's no need. I already know what it is."

"You do?"

"Thanks to Harry. I really owe him for that."

You stood there expecting him to tell you what it is.

"Well i'll be going now, see you later Y/N/N."

"Cedric."

"Hm?"

"Come on, tell me what the task is."

"Better not. Don't want you to freak out!"

"Cedric please just tell me."

"Ok, ok. We need to get a dragon egg while trying not to be.. well.. killed?"

"Killed by what?"

"A dragon. We're trying not to be killed by dragons."

"Dragons? Cedric you idiot."

"It's not like I chose the task! Calm down Y/N."

"You chose to put your name in the goblet!"

"See? I knew you were going to freak out."

"How wouldn't I freak out when my brother could be killed by a dragon?."

"Y/N stop being so over-protective. I told you i'll be fine."

"Over-protective? Not wanting my brother to die is being over-protective?"

You then heard a soft voice behind you;
"There you are! Come on, we've got to go back to the common room." Luna grabbed your hand and walked away from Cedric.
