Quidditch

"Wakey wakey sleepy head!" You heard a soft voice whisper.

You open your eyes to see Luna standing over you.

"Come on let's go! Ravenclaw and Slytherin play each other in quidditch today!" Luna drags you out of bed.

"Ok, ok, i'll go get dressed" you walk to the bathroom, still half asleep. You decided on wearing a blue sweater with an eagle on it and sweatpants. As you brushed through your hair, you remembered about what you were thinking about last night. Cedric was going to be at the quidditch match. He'd never miss one. What if he sees you and Luna and gets suspicious.

"I'm not going to go." You walk out of the bathroom.

"What do you mean love? it'll be fun!"

"I just.."

"No excuses, you're being silly of course we're going to go. It's not too cold, and besides you have a scarf."

"No, Luna that's not it."

"What's the problem Y/N/N?" Luna sits down on her bed and pats a spot next to her for you to sit down.

"Cedric is going to be there. Will we have to tell him about our relationship?"

"Only if you want to of course. But he is your brother. I think you should tell him."

She saw the worried look on your face.

"You don't have to, but he should know at some point."

"You're right Luna. Let's go."

You grabbed Luna's hand and pulled her off of the bed.

At the quidditch match

"There's Cedric! Over there!"

You look to where Luna is pointing and see Cedric. You realize you're still holding Luna's hand and freak out a bit.

"Stay calm Y/N. Just tell him. Everything will be fine." You try to comfort yourself. The next thing you know, Luna is pulling you over towards Cedric.

"Luna what are you-"

"Hi Y/N! I haven't seen you in a while little sis." Cedric smiles and looks down. He sees that you're holding Luna's hand and looks at you confused.

"Y/N, is there something you need to tell-"

You cut Cedric off and as you run the opposite way you say "Match is going to start soon! Gotta go!"

"Come on Y/N, you need to tell him!"

"I can't Luna, not right now. I'm just not ready. He doesn't even know that i'm not.. straight." You say quietly, trying not to out yourself to the entire quidditch field.

The game finally starts and you notice that Draco is there. "I thought he wasn't on the team anymore?"

"Draco? Why would that be?"

"I don't know.. rumors i guess."

Throughout the game, you saw Cho and Draco fighting for the golden snitch. Draco nearly got it, but missed.

Luna was cheering for the Ravenclaw team, of course while you sat quiet.

"Come on, this way." You heard a voice come from behind you.

"Oh, hello Y/N! Ron, Harry and I decided to come to the game to support your team." It was Hermione.

"Hello Hermione, Harry and Ron. There's open seats right next to us." Luna gestured to the open seats.

Harry sat next to Hermione who was sitting next to you, and Ron sat next to Luna. Hermione looked down and saw that you and Luna were holding hands. She looked back up at you and smirked. You nudged her into Harry on accident.

"Did I do something wrong?"

You and Hermione laughed. You hadn't even realized that the game was over already. You and Luna had been catching up with the golden trio. Ravenclaw won because Cho caught the snitch.

"Y/N!" Your name was being screamed from behind you. You turn back and see Cedric.

"Oh hey Ced" you say awkwardly.

"Come over here Y/N!"

"Be right back, Luna." You let go of her hand.

"We don't get to see each other much, I wanted to talk with you."

"Yeah you're right. Well.. um how's the girlfriend?" You say hoping that he doesn't bring Luna up.

"Cho? Oh we're actually planning on going to Hogsmeade during Christmas. Would you like to come?"

"I've actually got plans, sorry." You knew that you'd want to spend Christmas with Luna.

"What about you?" He smirked.

"What do you mean what about me?" You crossed your arms.

"The girlfriend question."

You widened your eyes and looked at Cedric.
"Girl.. friend? I have friends who are girls, but um.." You were at loss for words. Who snitched on you?

"C'mon Y/N/N, I saw you and Luna holding hands!" He let out a bit of a chuckle.

You nervously smiled.
"It was really that obvious?"

"I know you better than anyone, Y/N/N. I knew there was something going on. I will admit that you two make a good couple though."

"Oh! Ah.. heh.. uh well Luna's waiting for me so I better go now" you ran back to Luna and headed to the common room when you saw Draco and his minions.

"That game was totally rigged. Slytherin should have won!" He groaned. Draco looked over at you and gave you a dirty look.

"Look there, it's Y/N and her girlfriend Looney" Draco tried to whisper but you and Luna still heard him. Him, Crabb and Goyle started to laugh while you and Luna walked away. That was when you heard a comforting voice come from behind you.

"Got a problem Malfoy?" The voice grunted.

You turn around to see Cedric going towards Malfoy.

"I think the only problem here is your sister."

"I don't see Y/N doing anything wrong."

"Get lost you scared little hufflepuff GIT!"

"Excuse you?" Cedric started to walk towards Malfoy with an angered expression.

"Lay a hand on me and my father will hear about this!"

"Cedric it's fine." You try to convince him. You really didn't want him to get in trouble. Luna looked at you and you looked back at her. She could tell that you're concerned. Neither of you knew what to do.

Cedric shook his head at you and looked back at Draco with clenched fists.

"Consider this a warning." Cedric grabbed your sleeve and pulled you away from Malfoy. Luna was running behind.

"I'm sorry, I lost my temper."

"It's ok Ced. Thank you for protecting us."

-TIME SKIP (in the common room)-

"I wish Malfoy would leave us alone.." you mumbled to Luna. "..and you aren't looney. don't listen to him."

"Thank you love." Luna lunged onto you and gave you a hug.
