Sick Day Pt. 3 (Iwaoi)

Oikawa's sick day

It felt like a normal day for Oikawa. He did feel a little sluggish and kept coughing and blacking out but other than that he felt fine.

"Why don't you just confess?" Oikawa asked one of his best friends.

"No way! He is sure to reject me!" Atsumu winned.

"You should confess before I tell him!" Oikawa snapped "you keep going on and on about how cool he is, how strong he is when moving tables, how composed he is when he greets customers even thoughts is a germaphobe, I could go on for days. You talk my ear off about him" Oikawa let out an irritated sigh.

Atsumu was taken a back. Never before has Oikawa snapped like this. He would always enjoy their little crush session. They would talk about the people they like and get all star struck when they list all of the qualities they like about the person.

"Oikawa are ya ok?" Atsumu asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. I've just been a little on edge" Oikawa sighed as he brought his hands up and rubbed his face.

Oikawa looked like a worker who had been working a day and night shift for 3 days.

"What's going on? Are you ok Kawa?" Atsumu asked in a gentle tone.

"Yeah! I'm fine. Cough cough I've just been feeling out of it and I've been blacking out for brief moments" Oikawa explained to Atsumu.

Atsu put his hand to his and Oikawa's forehead for comparison but as soon as Atsu touched Oikawa's forehead he pulled back so fast you would think his arm could have gotten whiplash.

"Oiks! Your burning up" Atsumu quickly got up and rushed down stairs to get some medicine, water, a towel, and a bucket with cold water.

"Atsumu? Where's the fire?" Iwa asked as he opened the front door and saw Atsumu rushing around.

"Oh! Hi Iwa. Oikawa's sick and I'm trying to get all the stuff he'll need to recover before I have to leave for work in 20 minutes" Atsumu quickly explained.

"Can I help any?" Iwa asked Atsumu hoping he could ease his load.

"That would be perfect ahem I mean thanks for the help. Can you take this stuff while I go get ready for work?" Atsumu asked as he gave Iwa all the stuff he was carrying and pushing him to Oikawa's room.

"Thanks. Bye" Atsumu quickly left to get changed and then was out the door in a split second while leaving the dorm thinking 'Oiks will thank me later 😌'

Iwa was in utter shock at what just happened in the short span of 9 seconds. In reality it was 10 minutes but Atsumu was just explaining a lot while getting ready that it felt like seconds.

Shaking his head Iwa entered Oikawa's room only to see him asleep.

He was sprawled out across the bed with a little drool coming out of his mouth and sweating pools.

With a sigh Iwa walked over and placed the supplies next to Oikawa's bed. With a loving look he whispered....

"What am I going to do with you"

Iwaizumi's sick day

"Ugh! I can't believe I got sick" Iwa complained.

"Everyone gets sick. Just deal with it" Oikawa huffed.

Iwa groaned in agony as he pushed off his sheets. He was burning up and sweating as if he was in a sauna.

"Put me out of my misery" he groaned.

Oikawa rolled his eyes as he replaced Iwa's ice pack.

"You need rest now. You've already taken your medicine with a fight. Do I need to fight you on this one as well" Oikawa asked in a please pick the easy way tone.

"Fine! But you better be here when I wake up" Iwa demanded.

"Yes. Yes. Now sleep" Oikawa cooed as he pulled the sheets back onto Iwa.

As Iwaizumi's eyes closed he could feel a little peck on his forehead and the words...

"Get well soon tough guy. I'll be right here if you need me"
