"A Devil Necromancer you say?" asked Tereus.
It was back at the log cabin house where Tereus slept through the day while Teriel and her small band went to retrieve the Sun Bow and get back to the cabin to tell him about the events unfolding.
"That is the worst news I've ever heard," said Khon. "I always knew the King was always such a useless fool, but I'd never thought he fall victim to a necromancer!"
"The Necromancer, Khon! The Devil Necromancer. I thought he met his end years ago," said Gloribrog.
"I thought he did, too," said Naeryndam.
"Apparently not," said Khon. "Now he is in charge of the city and influencing the King and the Soothsayer. Just in case if there was any cause of coup or invasion to retake the city, the Devil Necromancer will just retreat and leave the puppets behind in the city."
"And the city will be ours for the taking," said Tereus.
"We'd be lucky if there is a city to save at all, dear brother," said Teriel.
"Regardless of what happens to the city or the people living those stone walls, the most important thing still lingers in this world of mortals and the city itself: the Devil Necromancer," said Tereus. "He is the one, true enemy every Yin-Yang Warrior fought and failed to kill in the past. Many times, the Devil Necromancer uses mortals to do his bidding and many times he tossed them away like torn clothes.
"And many times, it was the Yin-Yang Warriors who fought him many times. Kill by both or by one, but they failed in the end because he would only reincarnate into a mortal body he has ready. Teriel, you said you saw his spirit (or his ghost) flying in the sky, which means one thing. No matter how many times we or one Warrior kills him, he is reincarnated a different mortal form, even a newborn infant.
"We can't think of him of one devil that can be purged like other devil and demons in the past were; we must think of him as a hellgod. A true ruler of the Underworld, of hell. And the only way to kill him is having only the day or night of which the Yin-Yang Warriors are born: the solar eclipse! That is the only day of which the FULL power of the Yin-Yang Powers is fully activated and up to drive to kill anything."
"That is correct, Tereus," said Naeryndam. "In past lifetimes when a pair of Eclipse Twins are born under the solar eclipse, then it is when your powers are activated. Basically, there are two keys into activating your weapons: the weapons to unlock half the power and the black sun to unlock your other half.
"Then and only then would you have the significant power to slay any immortal from the mortal realm, even power to harm but not kill gods."
"But this time, we will get the chance," said Teriel. "The solar eclipse is upon us. My brother and my powers, with our weapons unlocked half our divine powers of the Yin-Yang, will swarm into the city and leave the rest to the united armies to deal with the King's armies. We need to strike while the Devil Necromancer still vestures from his defeat."
"I agree," said Tereus, nodding his head. "If we strike now while he is still licking the wounds of the previous battle with my sister, we can kill the King and the army will totally be in disarray."
"Yes, but there is no knowing what other powers the Devil Necromancer has in store for us," said General Khon. "But not just that, the solar eclipse lasts only for ten minutes. That won't be any time to time the Devil's new body and send it into oblivion.
"He may just wait for the time to pass up, and sneak around to slay the Eclipse Twins after the black sun fades from the day. And this time, the weapons will be in the heart of the real enemy after he was killed already so many times by previous incarnations of Yin-Yang users. He will seal away the weapons. And if there is any more incarnations of the Yin-Yang Warriors, the Devil Necromancer will surely be there to kill the next set of twins before they can draw their first breaths."
"Then my sister and I will end to make this the final fight, and the final incarnation of the Yin-Yang Powers and the humans who are incarnated with them. We both agreed we wanted to live our lives as ordinary human mortals, but we can't do that if the true enemy still lurks in this world.
"We must use the divine forms of the Yin-Yang, which is the Black Dragon and the White Tiger, during the source of the black sun and send the Devil Necromancer back into hell where he belongs. The same we sent other devil and demons and mad humans driven by the vilest of sins corruptible to mankind."
"Yes, how soon can we have every single soldier march out?" asked Teriel.
"As soon as you give the order," said Gloribrog. "My dwarf legions are ready. Five thousand dwarves are ready."
"The elven legion of two thousand elves is ready to shoot their legions of arrows like a plague of locusts," said Naeryndam.
"We don't have much human soldiers, but only three thousand humans we mange to find and train from the citadel," said Khon.
Arelzi stood at attention of the others, and they knew she was the last dark elf, but she seemed she had something to say. "Since we got to know the centaurs, I managed to use my influence of dark magic to 'convince' them to join your fray. They are eager to see the power of the Eclipse Twins (or the Yin-Yang Warriors) with their own mortal eyes.
"But I wonder, what should you two be called, Tereus and Teriel? Nicknames, to say. The Yin-Yang Twins? The Eclipse Twins? The Yin-Yang Warriors? The Yin-Yang Twin Warriors? What?"
Tereus and Teriel looked at each other with a smile and looked at their allies. "The Eclipse Twins since we were born under the solar eclipse!" they said.
They nodded and clapped their hands in applause and exited out the cabin house. They mounted on their own creatures that took to the air or dashed across the land; the Twins' griffins were the obvious choice for them both.
