"Finally! The time to ourselves!" shouted Tereus.
"That's if is it is our time," said Teriel.
The Twins finally struck the time to finally have as human beings than as divine warriors. For five years of undergoing training and fighting against the necessary evils plaguing a single city that could have plagued the Northern Territory as well.
They were at the old family house they lived in for so many years, and it was in complete ruins. The destruction Tereus caused with a magic sword, and Teriel's magic bow that had killed and destroyed a platoon of soldiers trying to search for them were only scratches done by fingernails. The first set of destruction made done by the Twins was just a magic sword and bow that destroyed only the front entrance, which was piles of rocky rubble.
Now the entire building had its walls removed top to bottom. Every square inch was removed, and all signs of battle crushed into the dust. There was nothing left of the old house as if it were never built in the first place.
The flooring was a small spot of the entire house that remained; all stones and things that made it a house was gone and obliterated from the face of the world.
"Well, not much of a home to return to," said Tereus.
"I never like the house in the first place. It obscures the view of the sun everywhere." Teriel strolled along the flooring remaining of the old house. "This marble floor really is hard to walk on yet alone sleep."
"It's hard stone. How can one person sleep on a floor?"
"If they hard snorers."
Tereus nodded in response. He looked toward the griffins lounging the front entrance use to be. The place of their childhood where they roamed as kids and where they never spent good time was all gone, and they never cared about the house as kids. They did what they loved to do as kids; tear apart the city with their gifted magic spells, which was advanced by training from the Dwarf Duke and the Elf Lord.
Their childhood was in the city, not on the outskirts. Their most precious memories were built on the city's destruction with their magic powers. Such happy times those days were, but now long gone.
The city was being rebuilt after years long of torture and unneeded crudity. It would by under the direction of Carvilius since he was always the one thought to be the king of the human realm, and the Elf Lord and the Dwarf Duke would aid him in the future.
"Well, what to do now?" asked Teriel.
"Where the hell else is there, sister? The log cabin. The only place I could come to like. See more view of the sky and the wonders of the stars I see and the life that sleeps beneath the nightlight."
"And the animals and creatures that flock during the blue sky of a sunny day. I see life through every ounce of light flowing through the brightness of day. The time I draw strength to fight whatever battle I feel like I need to battle, even if I have to cast out an arrow to destroy an army of trees."
"Yes, that is where we make the most memories. The daring use of our powers are better off spent away from humanity then helping them. I only liked destroying things these days, but I am just too drained from fighting all my life. It is time to live a life in the wilderness, like a caveman."
"And live there away from all peoples everywhere."
Teriel and Tereus shrugged their feet of their old, boring home and mounted back on their griffins. They flew with ease, and Teriel used her transportation magic to create a doorway that leaps back to the cabin home instead of the griffin flying the long distance. A shortcut to the path where the Twins love to stay for the time they now had together.
