Aurora's POVI sigh as I sit outside on the patio, watching the sunrise. This is what I do every morning because it calms my nerves and makes me feel at peace.
Sipping on my herbal tea, I hear the back door opening. I look up and see one of my roommates/best friends, Daphne.
"Good morning whore" she said in her raspy morning voice.
"Morning" I replied softly.
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling fine for now, you?" I answer.
"I'm fine but I have to work today" she whines and pouts.
I hum as a response to her statement.
We sit in a comfortable silence for a while before she speaks again.
"Let's go make some breakfast, wake up the others, then maybe we can talk some more if you want."
"Ok" and with that we went back inside the house.

Narrator's POV
After a pretty boring morning, the girls (except Daphne) decide to get out of the house to kill time.
After locking the door, they head to Naya's 2015 Ford Edge."Time to get in the mom-mobile" Stella teases.
"Whatever"
"Well...she's not wrong" Aurora sides with Stella.
Naya flips them off, making them laugh.
"So, where are we going?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They ended up going to the mall."We're hungry" Stella and Aurora whine.
"Y'all literally ate not even two hours ago!"
"So...?"
"What do y'all want?" Naya sighs.
Leaving the mall after shopping and getting some food, they decided to go to a park.Walking towards the empty park. They sit down on the swings.
"So how are guys feeling?" Asks Naya.
"I'm feeling fine, you?"
"I'm good, what about you Aura?"
"I'm fine." Aurora responded.
"Are you sure? You've been really quiet this past hour." Stella says, slightly concerned for her friend.
"It's just...it's around that time of the year" Aurora said in a low voice while looking down at the sand.
The girls knew what she meant by that. She meant that it was around the time for her parents death anniversary. Aurora always got really anxious around that time.
"How long has it been?" Naya asked.
Aurora stops and thinks for a second.
"Umm...16 years but it doesn't feel like it" Aurora feels her eyes starting to burn.
"It be like that sometimes, Aura." Stella says softly while patting Aurora's shoulder.
"Especially when they meant alot to you." Naya adds.
"Y-yeah" Aurora's voice starts to crack.
"Oh Aurora, come here." Naya opens her arms for Aurora.
