"It started when I was little, I could tell there was always something different about me, only I could never figure out what.
I felt like I maybe saw things a different way from most people, only I just couldn't put what I saw and felt into words, it would never come out.
I was 3 years older than my sister, anna, and when I was 9, my parents were murdered. Then I changed. Believe it or not, I used to always be happy, unlike now. I told myself I had to protect anna from whatever might be out there that could possibly hurt her. I could let her have the same fate as my parents.
We live on the streets, searching for ways to stay alive. Thats when leadership came along, they took us in and let us live with an abnegation family. Then, the one who killed my parents struck again. He swooped in a murdered anna while I was at school.
I never forgave myself and I'm still unforgiving about it now. I broke a promise and someone was killed, I can barely even trust myself. I could dare to stay with the abnegation family, thinking it was my fault that anna was dead, although when I had my test taken, the lady freaked out because of my results...they called it divergent.... I had all of the factions in me, it was a very rare occurrence, being divergent meant that I held great power within me. I knew I could protect people with it so I chose dauntless. It just escalated from there, I was top of class and soon became shadow.
We fight for innocence and against injustice. America is full of it, but there is also good. That is why we fight against the bad and good, we don't take sides. I personally try not to fight the government, but if they interfere I won't hesitate. That's my story."

A/N: lol I haven't updated in so long but...yes I'm finishing the story..I have had about 3 hours of homework each night so I have no time to do anything
