Jacks pov

Oh crap oh crap
I get up slowly out if my chair and walk towards the stage. Quickly glance at the bowls then pick up the knife in slit my hand like Elsa did.
God that hurt. I let the blood drip into the dauntless bowl and sizzle and the hiring charcoal
"Dauntless" the announcer says.
The dauntless section cheers and I walk back to my seat."see that wasn't so bad" Elsa says as I put a bandaid on my hand. " that hurt" I tell her
"Toothanna" I hear the announcer say
Tooth slowly gets up and walks to the stage. She slits her hand and hold it over the amity bowl then she lets it drip.
"Amity" the announcer says.
The amity section cheers and the leader come and congratulate her. Elsa and I give her a thumbs up and she smiles back.
The ceremony ends and we run to the train and jump on.
" jack I need to tell you something" elsa tells me
"What"
"When we get back they are going to implant a tracker in your neck... Also when you step onto school property your going to forget about everything you learned about the factions and about me but when you step off school grounds you'll remember. Same goes for tooth"
"Wait why I dont want to forget!"
"Jack you'll remember when you get off school grounds..it's only because you bullied me and we don't want anybody to be suspicious."
"But"
"No buts jack you don't have a choice."
"Fine"
I couldn't believe this but I guess it makes sense in a way but I don't want to go back to bulling elsa like before maybe I can over come it but maybe not
When we arrive at head quarters the tracker was placed in my neck
" so I have a question... "What if I need to remember while I'm still on school property?" I ask
"I have a deactivation device on me for your tracker so if I need you to remember I can just you the remote....and also, the other factions are moving to different school so tooth won't be going to our school anymore...it will just be dauntless members there." She tells me
That mean I won't see tooth other that at head quarters.
"Well you should probably head home because we have school tomorrow...but remember....Always keep a weapon on you at school Okay?" Elsa tells me
"Okay."
