I was standing at my locker...I knew that I was going to have to step up next period..I could feel it .

I was looking at the only photo that I had of anna.

It was from about a year and a half ago. The picture was of Anna and my dog.

Then tooth came over and took it from me..I knew she was going to freak out when she had it....I was right

She dropped the picture and backed up to the 5g... I picked the picture back up and just glared at them.

That photo had blood splattered around one corner and in another corner it was burt.

I just looked at the picture..I felt my heart sink just looking at anna, wishing she could be here with me.

I put the picture back in my locker.. Then it slams shut.

Elsa: what's with you guys and slamming lockers like gesh your ganna hurt somebody!

Tooth: what was that picture of?...and what was on it?

Elsa: That's none of your business.

I grab my black bag and walk to my next class knowing that I have it with the 5g

Jacks pov

We get into class and I see elsa open her jacket at just stare at that thing she put in earlier.

About 20 mins into class the lock down sirens ring and the announcer comes on the intercom

"ALL SHADOW RECRUITS LOCKDOWN THIS IS NOT A DRILL....WE HAVE CODE B-17

Right when the announcement was done the teacher told us to get into the corner but elsa grabbed her black bag and ran out of the room.

The person said shadow recruits and code B-17......what the hell does that mean?

I remember seeing something about the shadow recruits on the news

-flashback-

I was watching the news with my mom and it was talking about the gang shadow recruits.

They didn't know if the gang was good or bad because they would hunt down the bad gangs but when the cops came after them they would fight them.

They we're know to stay in the shadows but they had a leader..she had blond hair and always wore black while with the gang.

She was highly dangerous with no weapons but if she was armed you would probably be dead if you were to encounter her.

They called her the shadow.
