Darby's POV
I woke up at 8:30 this morning, thanks to my phone blaring my ringtone (which happens to be Uptown Funk, mind you). I realized when I woke up that I wasn't in my own bed. I was in a completely strange bed, and April was fast asleep next to me. I didn't have time to be confused, though, because my phone was still blaring Uptown Funk.
Saturday night and we in the spot
Don't believe me, just watch!I grabbed my phone from out of the pocket of my hoodie, which I guess I wore to bed. I looked at the ID of whoever was calling me, and I saw a selfie of Becca and I making really stupid-but hilarious-faces. I answered the call and immediately heard Becca's unmistakable voice.
"Hey, Darby!" Becca exclaimed, and I pulled the phone away from my ear, grimacing at how loud she was.
"Bec, you better have a good reason to be calling me at 8:30 in the morning." I said tiredly and I heard her laugh.
"Yeah, don't worry. I wanted to know if you were busy today." she said, thankfully in a lower volume, and I frowned.
"You called me at 8:30 on a Saturday just to ask if I wanted to hang out? You couldn't have just called later or texted me?" I asked with obvious annoyance in my voice but Becca just laughed again.
"Nope, because I knew you wouldn't have woken up until noon." she said and I laughed because it's true.
"So? That's the points of weekends!" I responded and ran a hand through my terrible blonde bed hair.
"Anyway, are you busy today?" she asked and I thought the question over in my head, trying to remember any plans.
"Nah, I think I'm good. Hey, April slept over, do you want me to wake her up and ask her, too?" I asked and I heard Becca dramatically gasp.
"You had a sleepover? Without me?" she said and pretended to cry.
"Sorry, Bec, it was super last minute. And we didn't really do anything, we fell asleep right away." I assured her and she stopped "crying".
"Ok, I believe you! Text me when you ask April!" she said with happiness in her voice. We said our goodbyes and then hung up. I then turned to April and shook her shoulder.
"April, wake up." I said but she didn't even stir in her sleep.
"April!" I said a little louder and shook her shoulder a little harder. She stirred in her sleep, but still didn't wake up. I sighed and grabbed my pillow. I lifted it over my head and smacked her right in the face with it. And just for good measure, I did it a second time. April opened her eyes and sat up with an angry look. I grinned widely.
"Good morning!" I said in a sing-song voice. April sighed and ran a hand through her red hair, which was also messed up from sleep.
"What? What do you want?" she asked with tiredness in her voice.
"Becca called and wanted to know if we were free to hang out today." I explained and April checked the time on her phone.
"It's only 9:00." she said and sighed. I smiled.
"Well, that'll give us plenty of time to hang out with her." I said. April and I got up and stretched our sore limbs.
"Hey, who's room are we in anyway? And how did we get in here?" I asked.
"Oh, this is the room I use when I stay down here. And I'm assuming two of the guys brought us in here." April said.
"Oh, that was nice. We should go thank them." I said.
