Sals POV

Maple overheard that Travis would be going to Sara's moms cafe to help out for a while. Which means I get to eat good food and see Travis. Would Travis wear an apron? I shouldn't think about that. But it's a nice visual, Travis Phelps in an apron.

Ash and Sara were staying behind to go talk or something.

It was just me, Larry, and Todd. I remembered how to get to the cafe pretty easily. In the window were display cakes and breads.

I bet they're pretty popular around here to have such a nice display case.

When we walking in the door it was packed. Holy shit! Waiters were running around and the order line went quick but more people seemed to join every second. This wasn't a cafe it was a full on restaurant!

A waiter walked up to us. "Are you Travis' friends? I think I saw you guys with him the other day, follow me!"

Well I guess we were Travis' friends somewhat. The waiter took us to a booth and handed us menus.

"Someone will take your order shortly,"

"So Sara's mom runs this place?" Todd said while opening his menu

"Yep, I never knew that they got this much business,"

There were a lot of good things. Like eggs Benedict, I've never tried that before. Pancakes with macadamia  nuts and white chocolate, frozen coke?! I wonder why I've never heard of this place.

Soon a waiter came over.

"Hello my name is Travis and I'll be serving you today. What would you like to drink?"

I hadn't noticed the waiters appearance at all until I looked up. It was Travis, my Travis!

"Travis? Holy shit you work here?"

Travis looked at Larry and made a face.

"Yes, it's a part time thing"

I wonder why Travis would take a job as a waiter, it doesn't really fit him at all. The prissy, pretentious, pretty, and petty Christian kid who works to serve people. What a trip.

Travis scrunched up his nose and put his hand on his hip. "Are you guys gonna tell me what you want or not?"

"Yes of course, I'll get a sweet tea" Todd smiled.

I didn't get a good look at the menu before so I quickly flipped to the beverages.

"I'll have uhm..." I couldn't concentrate with the way Travis was looking at me. It wasn't necessarily a special look but his eyes burned into me.

I fumbled for a few more seconds until I finally was able to speak "Surprise me! Get whatever you think I would enjoy best," Travis didn't look amused whatsoever, uh oh.

"Whatever, now Johnson what do you want you greaseball"

Larry dramatically gasped "How dare you! You little shit. I should tell your manager,"

Travis smiled a bit and hit him on the head with his notepad.

"I said...What. Do. You. Want?"

Larry rubbed the place where Travis had hit him.

"People like you should never work at restaurants, anyways I want whatever you're getting Sal"

Travis scribbled in his notepad and then walked off.

I can't help but notice how nice Travis looks from behind.

Not to be weird or anything! Just..his hair bounces as he walks and the swing of his hips.
