The light shone across Dawns face as she opened her eyes, "Good morning sweetheart" Carlisle walking over to Dawn "how are you feeling"
'Fine thank you'
"Good, why dont you come down for breakfast" she slowly nodded getting out of bed, Carlisle reached out his hand for Dawn to take instead she placed a few white roses in its plays.
He lead her down the stairs into the kitchen were Esme was making chocolate and blueberry pancakes, she finished making the stack as Dawn ented in toe to Carlisle "Good morning Dawn did you sleep well" Esme put the pancakes infront of a chair that Carlisle helped Dawn on to
'Yes thank you' Carlisle handed her a knife and fork as Dawns eyes lit up with wonder and excitement, after Dawn finished her food Alice came in
"Hi Dawn" she lowered her voice so it was soft and angelic "I have a lovely outfit picked out just for you do you want to see it" she slowly nodded her head before timadely following after the pixy flying down the halls.
Layer out on her bed was a light blue jumper and jeans, Dawn sat on the eadge of her bed after getting changed, Alice had left to find Jasper. A knock at the door had pulled her from her thoughts
"Dawn, why don't we go down stairs and watch a movie" Esme had entered the room and sat down next to her, Dawn looked up at Esme a small smile spreading across her face.
Esme P.O.V
I look down at the small girl next to me, my heart screamed to look at her she was so afraid, who would ever lay there hand on an insercent child. I took her down to the film room, a small spark lit her eyes, just as they had done with the pancake. I showed her to the shelf of movies allowing her to choose one, she chose 'The Muppets'. I put the movie on and sat down on the sofa as Dawn sat on the floor, "Dawn why don't you come and sit on the sofa" she slowly crawled over to the sofa curling herself up as small as possible. I loved seeing the happiness fill her normally sad, empty eyes. As the film came to an end I realised she had fallen asleep.
