"Alice" Dawn moaned at the look of the pink dress in front of her
"What" Alice mocked
"You know I love you but really it's bright pink" suddenly Alice burst out in hysterics
"I'm sorry Dawn I couldn't resist" Dawn watched as her pixy of a sister skipped down the halls only to return a few minutes later with a new dress, this one was midnight blue with purple flowers along the centre
"I love it" she squealed running forward to grab the dress
"Hurry up and get dressed, Aunt Carmen, Uncle Eleazar, Tanya, Kate and Irina will be here soon"
Shortly after Dawn was dressed and Rosalie did her hair, the Denali's arrived.
"Hola Dawn" (hello) Carmen opened her arms embracing Dawn in a tight hug "Feliz cumpleaños" (happy birthday)
Carmen handed her a small box possessing a silver bracelet decorated with blood-red diamonds
"Gracias" (thank you) Dawn marvelled at the gift as Eleazar attached it to her wrist
"Bienvenido" (your welcome)
Dawn wanted to stay awake for hours, so she followed everyone as they entered the living room and curled up on the sofa next to Carlisle, she felt her eyelids getting heavier causing her to fall into a deep sleep, Carlisle picked up the sleeping child and tucked her into bed.
"Have you told her?" Tanya asked getting closer to Edward
"No we were going to tell her tomorrow, I am worried how will she react" Esme sounded pained she was worried that Dawn would be scared of them
Dawn woke up earlier than usual but what was usual was everyone sitting in the living room waiting for her arrival. With a swift nod from Edward, everyone got up and left the room.
"Dawn we need to tell you something," Carlisle said after a long pause "we are not like other people"
"What do you mean" Dawn was getting worried about where this was going
"We are vampires sweetpea" Esme scanned her daughters face hoping to work out what she was thinking
"Oh... I-I am going for a walk"
