"Dawn" a southern voice spoke, "what's wrong?" Dawn curled herself up in a ball as she sobbed. The owner of the voice moved closer to Dawn taking a seat on the end of the bed "it's alright you can tell me"
"Where is Mummy and Daddy" she sobbed
"Dad has gone to work and mum has gone shopping" Dawn started to sob harder "but you can tell me as we wait for them" Jasper slowly moved closer to Dawn before picking her up and putting her on his lap lightly hugging her
Dawn melted into his arms, he felt what he thought was a thin piece of string wrap around his wrist, when he looked down there was a deep purple hydrangea, he lightly kissed her forehead. He placed his little sister on his hip, taking her downstairs. They spoke a little Dawn slowly learning to trust him.
Esme arrived home several hours later, she packed away the shopping and went to find Dawn, "MUMMY" Dawn shouted running over to Esme before being swept up into her mother's arms.
"have you been having fun with Jasper today?" Esme could not help but chuckle at her daughters' hyperactivity
"Yes"
"Good"
Everyone else arrived during various pointing in the evening after going out hunting, or in the case of Alice shopping. Dawn went to bed after dinner she was so tired she fell asleep almost instantly.
