(The Captain's POV)
As my vision faded to blue, and then normal, I woke up to see a metal man currently holding his face in annoyance, while the woman I'd already seen looked extremely confused. Phox currently talking while floating over me. "One more time... I was looking for my guardian... I came upon a crashed skiff... I followed a group of dead bodies and footprints until I found a hill.... on the hill, I found a few human corpses surrounding Wolffe's... I revived Wolffe thinking he was a human... okay?" The metal man just nodded, while the woman tilted her head.
"How do you mistake a fallen for a human?" The woman asked before she noticed I was awake and immediately jumped on me, forcibly looking over my face, then my clothes in interest.
"Well, I wasn't going off of looks!" Phox said, flying back down next to me. "Now give my guardian some space!"
"I will, I will, get off my back." The woman looked me in all four of my eyes, seemingly trying to make sure I actually was a fallen. This awoken bothers me... "Are you sure he's a fallen?"
"Hyx, off Wolffe, now." The metal man growled, picking up Hyx by the base of her cloak and holding her in the air. "I'm sorry, Hyx can be very, very, very annoying."
Phox floated back over to me, lightly headbutting me before her shell moved into a happy expression. "Glad to see you're awake, Wolffe." I happily nodded, gently petting Phox's shell before looking at the woman named Hyx and the metal man.
"and who are your new friends, little Phox?" I asked wearily, slowly climbing to my feet, but nearly hitting my head on the roof.
Phox floated into my fur cloak, and nested herself there, before responding. "The awoken is guardian Hyx, and the exo is Wire-14." exo? Such a marvellous machine... very intriguing. I walked over to the machine named Wire-14 and started inspecting him, looking him over with intruige.
"How did they get a machine to talk so normally? He almost seems like he's capable of self thought, similar to a servitor." Wire-14 growled at my question, lightly pushing me away as he walked to where I assumed the cockpit was.
"Uh, he's actually... he... He used to be a human, and now he's a person's conscience transferred to a human body." Phox explained, burrowing into my cloak. That's... impressive, but not quite as impressive as i'd hoped... I tilted my head at Wire-14 as he entered the cockpit.
"So our new bug friend doesn't quite understand everything, huh?" Hyx asked, tilting her head and crossing her arms.
I think I understand a little! I thought to myself, slightly offended, while Phox spoke up. "He's just a little new, that's all."
Hyx frowned, crossing her arms and tilting her head. "So, he's a guardian, what class is he?"
Phox and I went quiet, neither of us knowing how to answer that, and for different reasons. "A what?" I asked, tilting my head.
Hyx sighed, before sitting me down to explain everything Phox hadn't.
(Small timeskip brought to you by Wolffe trying to figure out what class he is.)
It wasn't long before me, Hyx, Wire, and Phox all arrived at the place Phox had told me about before, the tower. Me and the other two guardians both seemed to appear in the hangar of the tower, catching the attention of literally everyone inside.
I died at least thirty times before I could finally get to the three vanguards.
(I know its been a long, long, long time, I'm very sorry, very very sorry, just been lacking motivation for this book, I like the idea and the premise, its just...
well I haven't really played destiny 2 in a while and I'm so far behind lorewise that I don't know if I can really jump back into the game... i am gonna try and keep updating this book, I might just be going through a halo phase right now and I'll switch back to this one in a bit, who knows, but I have had an idea for a plot point... but that'll be later...
anyways, I'm rambling and you guys shouldn't have to read my dumb words, so, I hope you all have a wonderful day!
