The ghost's POV

The fallen captain looked me over before saying something. It took me a few moments to realize it was talking to me through the growls and hisses.

"What are you." It asked again, as I started to translate what it was saying.

I felt my shell widen in surprise. This captain isn't killing me, it isn't even angry at me. "I'm a ghost." That's when the realization hit me. "Well actually, I'm your ghost."

The captain quickly tilted its head in surprise. "Ghost." hmmm, if he really is my guardian, then he doesn't remember his past life. he won't remember what I am, and he won't remember the deeds that brought him to the bottom of this hill. "Do you have a name little ghost." The captain asked, drawing me from my thoughts

I shook my shell indicating no. "Guardian, do you remember your name." The fallen captain thought for a moment before shaking its own head.

"I remember the word captain, and that is all." Okay, well that's not great. Let's see, I need to find him a weapon and tell him about the stuff he missed since his death.

"Well, you've been dead for a long time, but I was able to bring you back." The captain held up all four of its arms and looked at its hands. Similar to what most guardians did after their resurrection. "Its a bit surprising that you're a fallen, but if you were the soul who was giving off all that light then you must be alright."

The captain looked to me for a moment, before reaching out to me with its lower left arm. I quickly floated over to its hand, and it raised me up to eye level. "If you do not have a name, then I shall name you here. I hereby name you Phox. the little life-giver." The captain took a brief pause, before inspecting me closer. "Now, why have you awaken me Phox.

I looked at my guardian for a moment, slowly looking over his armor, and lack of weapons. I was somewhat surprised to see that he wore house of wolves colors, and had two shock blade sheathes on his waist. "It seems guardian, that you have been chosen to defend humanity."
