"So you basically got dragged into helping someone out for the year?" Connie (Chica) said to Freddy while they sat on a bench. Freddy let an small sigh, "Yeah, the dean said it would benefit the college if I did this.." Connie looked confused. "How would it benefit the college?" She asked, "It's just another rich family, right?" "Yeah. I didn't get it either." Freddy said.
He leaned back on the bench and looked up into the ceiling. "Can't you back out of this?" Connie asked while biting into a protein bar. "Can't, Aunt Tiff already told the guy's parents I'd do it.." "Aww, that sucks-" Connie replied.
"Connie, Freddy!" Freddy and Connie's conversation was interrupted by an ear splitting, high pitched voice. "Oh no." Freddy said. A 19-year old girl skipped over to the two.
"Oh my Afton. Britt (Toy Bonnie),what do you want?" Connie asked the blue haired sorority female, sounding pretty annoyed. Britt placed herself between Freddy and Connie. "So whatcha talking about." She asked in a cheery tone. "Nothing important really.." Freddy said before turning on his phone and looking at it.
"I definitely heard you both talking about something about a rich family, correct?" Britt said. "Did you really have to hear?" Freddy groaned. Britt's eyes lit up, "Wow! So what do you have to do with a rich family?" She said looking at Freddy.
"That's none of your business." Connie said, "Since you love to exploit rich people all the time." Connie took another bite of the protein bar as Britt spoke again,
"Not true. I'm an actual friend to them, they're the ones who give me money all the time." Freddy and Connie rolled their eyes.
Freddy's watch alarm started to go off.
"Oh it's 6:50, I gotta go.." Freddy said before getting up and walking away. "Okay, bye!" Britt said. Connie was scrolling on her phone as Britt was looking over her shoulder. Connie glared at her. Britt giggled, "Sorry, sorry!" She apologized.
Monday, September 19, XXXX|7:00 pm| Dean's Office
Freddy walked into the Dean's Office a bit nervous, for some reason. He was twiddling his fingers like a child.
"Fredrick dear, are you okay?" Mrs. Temple asked her nephew. Freddy straighten up himself in the seat, "No, no, I'm okay Aunt Tiff." He replied, obviously lying. Mrs. Temple hummed at his response while she sat patiently at her desk.
"I honestly didn't think I'd be so nervous." Freddy thought, "This isn't supposed to be so nerve-wracking.." Freddy swallowed hard then..
*Knock-knock-knock*
The door was being knocked on. "Come in." Mrs. Temple said. The wooden door creaked open. It was the front desk lady. "Oh Daisy, are the family here?" Mrs. Temple asked.
Daisy nodded, "But the father is the only one out here in the sitting area." "Send him in please." Daisy nodded again before closing the door. Then the golden doorknob turned again. The door creaked open as the person behind it step in.
In came a well dressed man, probably in his early 50's, in a business suit, his brown hair was combed in nice manner. He seemed to have just left work but had no time to change at home. "Hello Mr. Middleton, please come closer and have a seat if you'd like." Mrs. Temple said.
