Friday, November 11 | 4:30 pm| Outside the Male Dorms
The weekend had finally arrived again. Freddy was really, really nervous. So nervous that he was shaking.
"Freddy?" Rodney said inquisitively, "Are you okay?" "Yup, just cold that's all." He replied with a chuckle.
Or just cold. Both maybe.
"When's the driver arriving?" Freddy asked. "In about 5 minutes." "Oh thank Afton.." Freddy sighed, "I'm freezing." "Same here. It's been really cold for the pass few days." Rodney pointed out.
Rodney didn't have his cast on anymore which confused Freddy. "Hey, where's your cast?" "Oh right, I got it removed at the hospital. Turns out I didn't need to for two months." Rodney stated. "Why not?" "The doctors figured that out by x-ray and saw my arm was healed and only after a month and a couple of days." Rodney chuckled.
"Well isn't that a miracle." Freddy said with a smile. "Yeah it is, I wouldn't want the rest of the family to see my arm like this." Rodney said.
A honk of a vehicle startled Freddy and Rodney.
"Mr. Middleton Jr." A tall man said as he stepped out of the vehicle. "Hello Garfield!" Rodney said waving the tall man, now identified as Garfield. "I presume this gentleman is the friend who'll be coming with you?" "Si! Si! This is Fredrick but our friends and I call him Freddy." Rodney stated, "Freddy, this is Garfield, our head butler." "Uhh, meet to you sir."
"Greetings to you Fredrick." Garfield replied before going to gather the luggage. "Oh don't worry I can bring our luggage to the trunk." Freddy stated. "Freddy, come on. Garfield is supposed to do that not you!"
"Rodney you can't just-" Freddy said before sighing, "He's a rich kid who gets everything done for him. I shouldn't be surprised." Freddy rubbed his temples. He felt bad to let the butler guy do all the work and plus he could show Rodney how strong he was. "Rodney, I gonna help Garfield okay?"
Rodney blinked confused by Freddy's willingness to help Garfield. But he remember that Freddy isn't used to that stuff. "Okay!"
After the luggage was loaded. Freddy sat down in the really nice car. "It's a limo right?" Freddy asked. Rodney nodded and said, "You bet. It's really comfy too.." "Mhm.." Freddy replied as the car began moving.
"Nervous?" Rodney asked. "A tad bit.." "Ah don't worry Freddy." Rodney reassured him, "My family is super welcoming and kind. You'll definitely get along with them."
Rodney gave Freddy a warming smile and a thumbs up.
"Okay, thanks Rodney.." Freddy said.
