You Should Open Your Eyes

A tense reunitement

Emily's POV

The two days went in a blur and I was now at the airport waiting for our flight to Sydney Australia. Danielle was fiddling with her fingers because she was so nervous. She said she would book the first flight back if Liam and this so called 'Rachel' were dating. I promised to join her.

Who does this Rachel chick think she is? I will give her a piece of my mind when I meet her! She must've known that Liam and Danielle had just broken up and the nerve she has to hold his hand and talk to him lovey dovey like I was being told!

The plane arrives and we all line up, since we got first class we were first. It was a windy day so we half ran to the plane. Then I saw how small the first class part is. Have I ever told you I can get claustrophobic?  Eleanor sees me and grabs my hand. "You don't like planes either?" I shake my head. "Too confined." I whisper. Eleanor squeezes my hand and we take a seat in our seat/bed thing. The wait was long before we finally took to the air but finally the captain starts talking about the safety measure in the unlikely case of an emergency. I always for some reason pay extra close attention to these because I don't want to be the dumb ass who dies on the plane whilst everyone survives.

"You actually pay attention to these?" Danielle giggles. I look at her like she is mad. She clearly has never seen an airplane crash site. "I don't wanna die!" I exclaim, but quietly. Perrie laughs, not so quiet so the whole plane is silent and is looking at her. "Sorry" She mumbles and everyone turns to the flight attendants who are demonstrating how to use the life vest. Next thing you know we are up in the air and I close my eyes to then drift off to sleep.

Niall's POV

"EMILY IS COMING TODAY!! EMILY IS COMING TODAY!" I shout as I walk into the studio.  Liam rolls his eyes and tells me to calm down but I can barely hear him. EMILY IS ON HER WAY! "Who's Emily?" Rachel asks curiously. Oh yeah! I forgot we haven't told her about the girls. They can become friends!

"Emily is my girlfriend. She is flying down from London! With all of the lads girlfriends! Eleanor, Jaz and Perrie!" Rachel's eyes light up. "You really love her, I can tell by the way you talk about her" I feel blood rush up to my cheeks and next thing you know I'm blushing a dark pink. "Aw Nialler!" Liam shouts and I roll my eyes.

"So who is dating who?" Rachel asks looking around the room. Harry smiles as he thinks of Jaz. "Well, I'm dating a lovely girl name Jazmine, but we all call her Jaz. She has been friends with Emily since before we all knew them" Harry smiles and then Louis speaks up. "I'm dating a wonderful girl named Eleanor. Been best friends with Perrie since day 1." Rachel looks around looking for the last lad. I think she is expecting it to be Liam. Then Zayn says "I'm dating a beautiful singer names Perrie, she is friends with almost anyone" Rachel smiles and says "It's a big 1D family!"

We laugh and I reply "That's what the fans call it" But Rachel wasn't listening she was looking at Liam who had a tear in his eye. She gives me a questioning look and I mouth 'Later'. She nods and we continue recording.

Sometime during recording Taylor Swift walks into the room and starts listening. Well watching Harry. Harry was looking at her too. But his face was a little different to her's. He looks pissed. Taylor's looked like she was going to jump on him in any minute. "And let me kiss you!" Harry finishes, looking away from Taylor. I look over at Harry and ask him "What's wrong mate?" He shakes his head and says "She won't leave me alone"

God, Taylor has struck. Rachel was looking at us worried. I guess she was guessing what was going on, because she walked over to Taylor and whispered into her ear. I read her lips and it looked a lot like she was saying. "He's taken. Sorry" She cirtanly wasn't impressed. She laughs darkly and replies "I know" Good god.
