Harry's POV

"we saw you in the paper and you looked beaut.... I mean sad so" Hmm Niall seems to like Emily. I wonder how that's gonna turn out. But it's my job to embarrass him. "NIALL HORAN!! DID YOU JUST CALL EMILY BEAUTIFUL??!! I CALLED DIBS!" What? It's my job to annoy your best friend. Niall went bright red and I silently laughed. Lucky for him she couldn't see otherwise he would have been screwed already! "shut up Harry!" That would have given him away but Emily just sat there like nothing happened. okay? "Permanent contacts!! you'll be able to see!" Niall finishes. Emily gasps and so does her mum. She looks frightened and runs away to her room.

Niall's POV

She ran away and I think I saw a tear in her eye. I look at her mum shocked and she smiles and explains something I didn't even consider "She hasn't seen the world since everyone was nice. Not bitchy teens. She would be scared of what they will look like... What she looks like." I frown and realize that I would be like that too. I look at Lou and we follow to where she ran to. The hall was full of family photos. Of a little Emily and a boy. I gasp and look at the photo again... That looks so much like me! Louis stops and looks at the pic. "Isn't that the photo that you have on your bed-side table?" I nod and have a tear in my eye. "How didn't she know that you were....you?" Louis asked confused and I laughed at the memory. "Your gonna like this.... She called me Swaggi" Louis bursts into laughter at that and walks down the hall. "Okay then sure sure, let's go cheer the poor girl up."

Louis knocks on her bedroom door. "Emily!! It's Louieee!! Your fav member eva!!" He sings and I laugh and hear a laugh inside as well "Hey now! I think that I'm the favourite! And the cutest!" I joke and another laugh comes inside the door and the door opens. She has been crying. Her eyes were red and puffy and her blush has darkened. "c-come in guys" She says half crying half giggling. We go in and sit on her bed. "I'm so sorry Emily. I didn't think for a minute on how it would effect you." I start but she shakes her head and says "It's not your fault. Just please tell me... Is the world scary?" She says squeaking the end of the sentence. "No! Not at all and besides you'll be with us!" Louis says enthusiastically. That seems to reassure her a bit but not much. "How long?" She whispers "You have 6 months until the surgery. See! You've got AGES!" I tell her and that seems to lighten her up a lot. "Now I just have one question for you Emily" Louis says sternly "I am your fav right?" And Emily bursts out laughing and she looked so cute. No wait... what? I've only just met her! "Sorry Lou, your not" I grin at that but that meant that it was Harry. I had a feeling drop in my stomach and I realized that it was jealousy. For god's sake Niall! "Who then?" Louis asks eagerly but he has a pout on his lips. "Erm Niall." she says and blushes furiously. I felt pleasure surge through me and then I start blushing. What the hell is wrong with me?! "Aww thanks babes!" I joke and she laughs and walks out to join the others and we follow.

Emily's POV

"So at 6:00 tomorrow night?" I hear Paul say as I walk out to the living room again. And my mum agrees. "What's at 6:00? I ask as I sit on a chair. "erm a surprise" Liam says and I groan. Surprises were annoying! "Please tell me!" I beg. "Your coming with us to the VMA's!" Harry blurts. "HARRY!!" The whole room shouts and then a thump and Harry's cursing fills the room. "Thank you Harry." I say politely showing that he shouldn't be punished. "Wait....What?!" I say letting his words sink in. "VMa's" Niall says confused. I thought so but I was hoping I was wrong. "WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR?!" I howl and the boys sigh a breath of relief. "Your going shopping!!!!" Liam says excitedly.

So I'm in the 1000th shop STILL with nothing to wear! I was shopping with the boys girlfriends Danielle, Eleanor and Perrie. They hadn't seen anything they liked on me yet and I was getting annoyed. "Let's just pick something and leave!" I complain and of cause none of them listen to me. "Nope" Eleanor says popping the p. "Ohh this one!!" Perrie does a little excited squeal. "Nah it doesn't suit her eyes." Eleanor says and i hear a clink of metal. "THAT one!" Danielle says like it was obvious. "Yes!" Eleanor and Perrie says at the same time" They guide me to change room and Danielle helps me get the dress on. It felt long and it had a rough pattern on it somewhere. "What colour is it?" I ask confused. "Dark green" she says adoring the dress on me. I nod and walk out to show the others "Oh my you look gorgeous!" Perrie says happily. "Seriously I'm considering stealing that dress" Eleanor says longingly. "Time for shoes!" Danielle says excitedly.
