Present Time
Y/N P.O.VAfter drop offs around the neighborhood, we were off to the other house where the others were awaiting me and Shirabu's arrival.
Shirabu played some songs along, singing the way how it used to be. Sometimes I looked back and wished I stayed behind with Shirabu while my mom moved to Tokyo on her own. I thought what it would be like and how different things it would be. I would probably be travelling around Miyagi on doing missions for different gangs like I had been before I "took a leave" some would say.
Now, my life had drastically changed with gang activities on hold but yet still having ties with now Suna being in the picture. I couldn't put into words what Suna and I were. I admitted to him in his car that I liked him yet he didn't say it back. He did say though that I was his multiple times. So maybe that would count as him showing interest in me.
Shaking my head I looked at Shirabu who was rapping Polo G. I smiled at him when he looked at me and rapped lyrics. I couldn't help but laugh at the expressions he made which made him laugh along with me.
We both started yelling out Polo G lyrics. This went on the whole the way to the house. Once parked on the side of the road and across was the beige small two story house that was gated. This was Shirabu's first ever house bought and was located in Wakuya, Miyagi.
The one way street only aloud you to park on the left side, making me have to cross to get to the gate. Shirabu had gotten a passcode entry to be put in the front that only me and a couple of other knew besides him of course.
Once he entered the passcode the gates opened slowly on their own and in we walked in. Walking inside the gate you see a long pavement driveway with flower beds along it that contained Shirabu's favourite flower, nemophila. The flowers held a deep meaning to Shirabu as it was his mother's favorite before she had passed away by overdosing on drugs.
Shirabu didn't have an easy life. He had gotten into this lifestyle because of his mother's ties. The short version of the story was that she owed money to her drug dealer but never paid. The drug dealer had followed Shirabu to his middle school and kidnapped him. The drug dealer had threatened his mom that he would kill him if she didn't pay back. Turns out she wanted to save her money for Shirabu's high schooling instead of paying back but she had an addiction. In the end his mom gave all her savings to the drug dealer.
Shirabu felt bad for her mom as she was trying to raise money for him and not for herself which was the most selfless thing she had ever done for him. So he decided in his last year of middle school he got into contact with that same drug dealer and asked if he could join in the business. They somehow made a deal about the profits and off he went making crazy money. Enough money for him to even go to one of the big schools Shirtorizawa.
He made it big and was getting attention from these other gangs to try to get him to deal for them. Shirabu was smart though, and didn't want to feel being tossed around like that. So him and his bestfriend Ushijima Wakatoshi decided to build a gang from the bottom up. The Shiri Gang became the biggest gang in Miyagi in just over a year.
No one had done it like them. They had beaten the best in such a sort time that no one dared to try and cross them.
When Shirabu's mom died, he told me how no matter what state she was in, even when she was not completely sober, she would never forget to water the pot that held the neophilia flower. That's why he hired a gardener to keep up the flower beds filled with those flowers to keep her memory alive. He told me "Even though she wasn't present most of time when I was a child, she still made many sacrifices for me and that was enough." I reckon though that he also said he had no love for her but had a slight bit of respect for the things she did for him.
