Simmons demonic laugh kept replaying as he tried to take them down. His three targets were right where he wanted them but they wouldn't let him get any closer. The three kept their distance, only going in when Simmons turned back into his human self. Helena provided support in the building.

However, Simmons got close enough to strike at Leon but what Leon or the others didn't expect was for Ren to push Leon away and he took the hit. It was in slow motion for everyone as Ren flew far back and hit the ground hardly  while Simmons just laughed. Simmons took the opportunity to hit Ada and Leon away but Leon hung onto the side with one hand.

Leon's thoughts were only on Ren as he hung but as he looked up he saw Simmons looking down at him with a smirk. Simmons then stepped onto his hand. Leon grabbed onto the other side with his other hand.

Simmons: Do you want to live?

He kicked Leon's hand off leaving him dangling once again with the same hand he's stepping on.

Simmons: Then beg! Beg for your life!

Leon: I'll pass!

Ren slowly got up as he got his sight back from all the blurriness. He looked to the side to see Ada throwing something at him which made him catch it to see it was an arrow. Ren got the idea as he started to walk to Simmons. Once he was Behind him, he twirled the arrow in his hand before letting the pointy side in front.

Ren: Can't always get what you want Simmons.

Ren then stuck it into Simmons lower side.

Simmons: No! No!

Ren grabbed onto Simmons waist and jumped off before taking out his grapple hook and shot to where Ada  was before letting him free fall on his own. Simmons fell into the fire and screamed in agony. When Ren got to Ada, he fell to the ground on his hands and knees while coughing out blood. He then wipe his lips when he finished coughing.

After all the sudden pain of getting hit and thrown around, it's starting to crash down on him. He felt like he was going to die at some point but push that thought away. For now. Ada stepped forward and got down on her knees while putting her hand on his back. Unknown to him and her, Leon and Helena were watching.

Ada: Are you ok Ren?

Ren: Yeah....

Ada then lifted her hand before hesitantly putting it on his hair. Caressing it.

Ren: What are you doing?

He said as he turned his head to look at her. Ada looked into his eyes. She then took her hand and started to reach for his face but Ren grabbed her wrist, startling her. Ren got up as she did the same.

Ren: Are you ok?

She nod as she then pulled her hand away and hugged him which caught Ren off guard.

Ren: Wow ok um..

He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist before looking to the side to see Leon confused. Ren wouldn't lie, he was confused as well. Ada never showed any type of emotion but this was new. She then let him go and showed him a small smile before taking out her grapple hook and took off onto the top of a building and look down at him. She took out her device and typed something before putting it away. Ren's device go off which him look to see it was a message from her.
