Truth. [Leon Kennedy] (RE6)

Chapter 13.

(Flashback)

It has been a couple days since Ren's death, Leon wasn't himself. He tried to pay attention to what he's being told but he was so far into his head that he didn't hear a single word. Hunnigan could see how with Ren's death made him but in her head, she still didn't believe Ren was actually dead.

She went to her computer and put on her headset. She needed to see proof and that proof was his body. Once she knew Helena and Leon were nowhere near the helicopters or herself, she commanded a couple people to find Ren and that's what they did.

They found Ren's body far beneath on the floor, covered in his and Simmons blood. With the way how Ren looked, they knew he was seriously long gone. But Hunnigan had other plans, she ordered them to bring back the body which confused the people but they did anyways.

Once they reached back, the people had to be careful with Ren's body and bring him to a room which was basically an experiment room with different equipment and chemicals. Hunnigan  came in to look at Ren's body. She had an idea. She thought about how Agent Birkin can heal herself which caught her attention. She called in a couple doctors.

Hunnigan told the doctors about it and they were shocked. They told her that it was impossible. Unknown to them, Hunnigan already searched up about them and knew what they do for a living. When she told them about their records, they didn't how to act until they told her that they knew.

She gave them two weeks to make Ren like Sherry and she didn't want to be disappointed when the dead end comes. The doctors had to pray and start their work immediately. On the shelf in the back, it had a tube that had Sherry's blood in it but the doctors didn't know that and continued their work. They knew who was Sherry and her abilities.

Hunnigan stepped out of the room with a sigh after closing the door. She saw Leon walk right past her which almost made her jump but she stayed still. She hoped Leon didn't hear the conversation or see Ren but with his actions, she knew he didn't see or heard anything.

Hunnigan: All for you, Leon.

One by one the days past. Hunnigan was getting restless but she knew it took time but luck was in her hands when she was called to the room. The people around looked at her suspiciously because she instantly got off her chair and start to walk to the room but they went back to what they were doing.

Once she reached inside the room and locked the door, she saw Ren all healed up and hooked up to different cords. The doctors started to explain to her about it being a success and showing her that he can actually heal just like Sherry. The happiness in Hunnigan started to pour out as she started to smile and tear up. She thanked the doctors who smiled at her.

Dr. Liam: He is unconscious right now. After a day or two he will eventually wake up.

Hunnigan: Thank you.

Dr. Evan: Its no problem.

Just like Dr. Liam said, Ren did take those days to wake up and Hunnigan was right next to him. Ren opened his eyes slowly before turning his head to the side and put his hand up to block the light that was flashing in his eyes. He looked around slowly before getting his vision back.

Ren: Where am I...? Augh my body...

Hunnigan: Ren! Your awake. Thank god.

She sighed in relief as he turned his head to look at her.
