Chapter 28

"Guess what baby, I get to take you home today." I whispered to my two day old baby girl Brooke, while rubbing small circles on her chubby tummy. "Mummy love you sweetheart." I cooed as she just laid there with my pointer finger held tight in her small fist. She had Calums nose and his eyes. I couldnt believe I was now a mother, because I was a mother to a beautiful baby girl. Shes already mending my broken heart. I just couldnt help but stand there and stare at her. A knock from the door interrupted me from my thoughts. Turning around, I see Luke and my mum both standing there with big grins on there faces. "Ready to bring her home?" Mum asked as I nodded. I made sure I had everything before thanking the doctors and nurses. "Shes so beautiful." Luke said, as he wrapped an arm around my waist. "She really is." I smiled, placing a soft kiss to his lips. We all got in the car and left the hospital. As we arrived into the driveway I saw a 'Congratulations' sigh hanging over the front door, causing me to smile. "Ready to meet everyone properly Brookie." I grabbed her out of the car seat, before carrying her inside. Everyones was here, all the boys and there families, Cals family and mine of course. "I know you just arrived but can I please hold her." Mali begged as I laughed at her before bringing Brooke over. "Shes just so precious. You and my brother did great." I saw a tear fall out of her eye as she just kept smiling at Brooke. Everyone was either holding Brooke or congratulating me. I walked over to my dad who was now holding her. "Sorry to interupt dad, but I have to put Brooke down for her nap now." He handed her over to me as I took her upstairs, Mali following behind me. I slowely rocked her back and forth as Mali just watched. "Do you think Luke will be a good dad?" She asked as I gave her a confused look. "What do you mean?" "I know you and Luke like each other, im not that oblivious." She laughed as I shook my head at her. "I think he will be a good dad, but I dont know if he is ready for that yet." I replied , placing Brooke into her crib. "Have a good nap sweetie." I whispered, kissing her forehead. Mali and I headed back downstairs, rejoining everyone. Everyone started to head off, except Luke who stayed for a little longer. I was standing out on the back balcony when I heard the sliding door open. "Hi." Luke said as he walked over to me before placing a kiss on my cheek. "Hello." I smiled, as he rested his head on top of mine, his arms wrapped around me. "Vienna." "Yes." "Are you sure your ready to be in a relationship?" I could hear the concern in his voice. I turned around and kissed him before nodding. "I think im ready." I whispered as he smiled. "Im glad." We stood outside in silence for another couple of minutes before heading back inside. "Ill see you later Vienna." Luke said. "Bye Luke.
