Chapter 12

After finding out about Calum and that he was going to propose to me I calmed down and we went to have Christmas lunch. As we sat down to eat I felt off and just ran upstairs to the toilet to be sick, mum and Mali running after me. "Are you okay Vienna?" Mum asked worridly as I put my thumb up signally that I was. I stood up and flushed the toilet before cleaning myself up. I didnt know what could have been making me sick. I came back downstairs and ate the rest of my lunch before we all played a game of soccor out the back. "Thanks for today everyone." I said as they all smiled back at me. "Group hug." Mali yelled as we all huddled in together. "Cal would be so proud of all of us." David said as we all nodded in agreement before I ran off again upstairs to be sick. I sighed in announce as Mali came into the bathroom to help me. "Vienna are you okay?" "I dont know" I whispered as she pulled me into a hug. "Vienna." "Yes." "Do you think you could be pregnant?" My heart dropped. Was I pregnant? What if I was? Should I keep it? Should I give it away? Calum and I had sex before I left. We didnt use protection. All these questions running through my head as I just stood their in Mali's arms in silence. "What if I am?" I whispered looking up at her. "If you are I will be here to help you dont worry." "Thank you." The day ended and Joy, David and Mali all headed home. I went and had a shower before getting into some comfy clothes going into mum and dads room. "Can I talk with yous?" I asked walking into their bedroom taking a seat on the end of the bed. "Whats up sweetheart?" Dad asked as I took in a shakey breath. "Um I think im might be pregnant." I whispered as they both looked at me in shock. "I dont know if I am though. Cal and I did stuff before we left and yeah." My mum pulled me into a hug as my dad rubbed my shoulder. "Well take you to get some texts tomorrow okay." Mum said as I gave her and dad a kiss before walking off to my room

The next morning mum and I got up bright and early to go to buy the tests. We picked Mali up on the way. "These ones are good." Mum said as we went to the counter to buy them. The lady gave us a weird look as mum was buying them. "What are you looking at?" I snarled from behind her as my mum nudged me a bit before smiling back at the lady as we left. "Okay go into the bathroom do what you have to do then come out okay." Mum said as I left her and Mali as I made my way to the bathroom. I walked out after leaving the sticks in the sink. "15 minutes should do it." We sat down on the couch as I fiddled with my fingers. Dad walked in as we were sitting their. "Found out anything yet?" He asked as we all shook our heads. This was the longest 15 minutes of my life. "Ready?" Mum asked as we all made our way back to the bathroom. I walked in and picked up the three sticks. "So what is it?"
