<Annie's POV>
2 months later.
Clove and Cato, and Finn and I postponed our weddings. Peeta and Johanna are almost all healed besides all the mental damage done. Yet Finn is only walking out of the hospital for the first time today. Throughout these two months there have been times when Finn simply wasn't going to make it. He nearly went into full cardiac arrest. But against the doctors predictions my beautiful Finn is alive.
He's been jumpy all morning, just itching to get out of the hospital. In fact Finn has been wanting I leave for two weeks now, but his release had been postponed because of more unexpected close calls. He's walked a few times, but only ever with some assistance. To Finn's annoyance it's going to be a while before he can swim again.
I meet the rest of the misfits outside Finn's hospital door. Taking Finnick's hand the misfits quietly clap as I help Finnick walk out of the hospital for the first time in two months. Slowly we help the non stop grinning Finnick into our car as we drive home.
As we drive Finnick starts to shake. "Finn baby, what's wrong?" I ask nervous.
"The last time I was in a car was when it happened," he says trying to sound strong, but I can hear the fear in his voice.
"It's okay we're on our street already," I say trying to comfort him. Once we are parked the misfits cheer once again as Finnick slowly walks into our house where Prim and Rue wait with a cake that Peeta baked.
The two younger girls run up to Finnick and cautiously hug Finn's waist. I can see that it hurts him a little, but he ignores it and just kisses the two girls on the forehead. "Hey my little ladies," he says happily. Marvel whispers in my ear that he can see Finn's legs shaking. I don't do anything before Finnick himself speaks quietly with a grimace, "Annie my love, couch please." I nod as Cato comes up to help me bring Finn to the couch.
Once Finn is settled on the soft sofa Katniss gives the two little girls permission to bring a piece of cake over to Finnick. Quietly, Finnick mumbles a thank you and digs into the cake. The rest of us take that as our cue to eat the cake as well.
<Finnick's POV>(yay!)
My whole body aches as I try to look strong for the two young girls in front of me. After we've eaten cake, watched a movie, and talked for a while it's time for bed. Marvel, Peeta, and Cato carry me up the stairs. "My heros!" I exaggerate, kissing Peeta on the cheek(as a joke of course). They set me down in bed next to Annie as we drift off into a peaceful sleep.
<Katniss's POV>
Before sleep takes over my mind and body I realize we never told our friends that I'm pregnant. I think that has to change, especially since I am starting to show. Maybe tomorrow, I think that'll cheer Finn up.
A/N suckish, non proof read late, short chapter... soooooooooooo beyond sorry for the quality! I have absolutely no time to write anymore. Anyways have a good day/night
